"This past week we celebrated that the Big Cat Public Safety Act passed in the Senate and it will soon be signed into law by President Biden! The Akron Zoo has been a longtime supporter for the Big Cat Public Safety Act! The federal law will prohibit private ownership of big cats, except by qualified entities, which include AZA-accredited facilities like your Akron Zoo."
