i’ve started doing birdfactfriday in the #random company chat at work, and today the CEO ran into me in the kitchen and asked if i actually like birds or if i’m just trolling the whole company.
like???? first, my love of birds is not a joke. second, of all the things to troll about???????? like, yeah my guy. i'm faking my love of birds so i can post bird facts on friday.

Whisper, showing off those lovely Barn Owl feathers! Do you see all the little dark spots on her stomach? Those markings tell us that Whisper is a female Barn Owl - the males will have less or none of those little spots. And they say that the more spots a female has, the more attractive she is to the male, making Whisper a very beautiful owl indeed. 🐤✨💁 #birdfactfriday #barnowl
