okok though-- even if no one else will probably ever ship them due to a lot of reasons, I fucking love the interesting dynamics to be found with both HanaFuji and GetoFuji, and also like. It feels so much more fun and free for me to just not worry so much and just make art, stories, thoughts, etc. about them!! One day I would like to throw up a 10k essay on picking apart the hows and whys on both of these ships and why I think they work well together, but for now, I'll just say that both of them give me the kind of serotonin that not even my favorite canon ships come close to!

@kyoandyuya yall need to chill. You are comparing two completely different Sasukes..one where he is much older and advanced in his skills to one who was more controllable 12 yr old that was affected by the curse mark. Now, why would Karin stand up to someome who she very well knows is more skilled in combat than herself. It wpuld clearly be suicide. She was smart and shortly after Sakura came in and foolishly tried to pull the i will obey then attack when he least Expect it..with a kunai. Karin has stood up to Sasuke when he made foolish choices outside of fighting which isnt her forte. She acknowledges her capabilities and is logical with that in mind. Sakura yas been more passive with Sasuke than karin has and you were pretty unfair in the comparisons.

Uh huh. Yeah because somehow Sakura standing up for Naruto’s sake again after his descent to darkness went under the radar. Hello Land of Iron!

Fact is, Karin has never stood up against Sasuke. The author has even made her tendencies to be his doormat a joke. Immediately after saying she’ll never forgive him for stabbing her, she’s cooing over him and rubbing herself over him, saying she “can’t help it”. She speaks in gibberish and the Japanese text actually has hearts in her bubbles during this scene, while Sasuke has a comical face of exaggerated horror. Karin is a total pushover around Sasuke and the author makes light of both her behavior towards him and his dismissive treatment of her.

Meanwhile when Sakura struggles with her feelings towards Sasuke when he is in his darker stages, the tone of the manga is very serious and emotional. This is because she genuinely loves Sasuke and his coldness, whether directed at her or not, troubles her.

Compare that to Karin, who really doesn’t give a damn about how nasty Sasuke might become as long as it’s not directed towards her, and even when it IS directed towards her, it’s turned into comedic value and she forgives him immediately. As a sensor, Karin was VERY aware of what was happening to Sasuke during the Kage summit, yet she did absolutely nothing to stop him and didn’t even seem concerned about it for more than a panel. She just immediately jumped when he told her to and went back to being his yes-man. Karin watched him kill people, watched his chakra change, watched him become dark and violent, and did absolutely nothing. She did not care.

What did Sakura do when she saw Sasuke headed down what she feared was an irreversible path into darkness? She opted to kill him. Sure, she was unable to stab him in the end, but this was an EXTREMELY intense and emotional scene, and she was ultimately unable to kill him because she remembered the gratitude she had shown him when she had told him she loved him so many years ago (take note that when Karin “forgave” Sasuke and was unable to hurt him, there was no flashback or anything remotely serious).

She did not even let him off easily by immediately accepting his apology. Sasuke had to repeat himself and be more sincere in his apology because he knew he owed her one.That is what a true self-respecting individual do in the face of standing up for herself. She wanted him to know that he had hurt her and she would accept nothing less than a sincere apology. She knew she at least deserve that much.

How was I unfair about my comparison when there’s no real competition here?

Looked kinda weird in Laxus panels..Like one minute talking to a blushy Mirajane, next minute patting Lisanna and then Cana pops up, he all sparkly eye. Like uw0t son. Whatheplanning. Sad didn't see Raijinshuu with him or just observing in bg while ever distracted by elf. Rather they done a random 10 year skip with the most blatant shups canon in all shounen with new gen cos this was taking the piss, even for shippers. No solid answer besides gajevy maybe plotting a saucy shag night.

I--I only just realized I didn’t see Freed or Bickslow. At all. If they were in that chapter, I didn’t notice it. Did he seriously not even bring up two of the Thunder Legion? And the one that got prominence, naturally, was on Elfman’s arm.

Elfman, Evergreen, ya’ll have my condolences. You deserved better than being reduced to a ship.

Ah, yassss Tsuyu. Want to see more of her too and her quirk development that was only shown a very little in the exams. For once, a main female in popular shounen who puts her feelings to side and focus on what actually needs to be focused on. Bakugou is a refreshing asshole-ish rival type to say the least. Deep thinker and is actually smart. He needs some more love besides from deku and eijirou. Bless em all though.

Tsuyu’s got a surprisingly versatile quirk. Can’t wait to see her in action again, it’s been awhile (plus she’s so cute???) I’m hoping Uraraka’s crush gets treated with dignity and she doesn’t fall into the usual shonen female protag pit, but Horikoshi hasn’t let me down yet...!

Bakugou is so refreshing. I kind of expected him to be the cliche bully character that ends up the MC’s best friend after MC saves them. Nnnnnope. I also love that he doesn’t have a ~dark past~, he’s just... a normal angry kid. The main cast is refreshing that way too; none of them have uber tragic or complex backstories, in a lot of ways they’re just regular kids that happen to have superpowers. S’cool. (Speaking of Kirishima: I’m still waiting on that origin story.)

By even the hands of the one she loves? I'm sorry but Sakura's love for Sasuke was poorly written and handled by Kishi. Her biggest flaw was that unhealthy love she had for Sasuke that she put even before Naruto. She almost cost Naruto and the otgers lads back in part 1 their life by pleading to save Sasuke and yes it was their choice but it shows that she didn't put much consideration on others as much as she shouod have...Especially with the amount of damage Sasuke had done. She relentlessly chased him while pregnant with Sarada and Karin had to be the one to take care of it.There is no greater bad ovsession than Sakur ahas with Sasuke. Karin's was purely for comic relief but she was much wiser

No sorry, that’s a complete and utter farce. Someone who advocates Karin’s affections for Sasuke is in absolutely no position whatsoever to be describing anyone else’s love as being “unhealthy”.

Are you honestly going to shamelessly reach that far, as to actually accuse Sakura of putting her love for Sasuke above the safety of Naruto and the others, simply because she pleaded with them to bring Sasuke back, despite the fact that they had all agreed to go on the mission long before Sakura had ever said anything? Goodness gracious, that’s beyond preposterous. I honestly can’t believe what I just read. You think she almost cost them their lives by wishing for their success on a mission that they agreed to partake long beforehand... Words fail me.

How on earth does it show a lack of consideration on her part? Please, I’d love to hear you fruitless try to justify this absolutely absurd comment. As I said, her pleading with them to get him back was essentially the same as her wishing that they succeeded on their mission. What was wrong with that? Please show me the explicit scene which indicates that Sakura chased after Sasuke “while pregnant”, because I’m going to clarify this to you in the simplest of terms: Not a single translation says anywhere that Sakura chased after him whilst pregnant, not one.

And not the Viz version either. The Viz translations have always been considered to be the most accurate version, and it dictates that not only was Karin not with them on their travels, but also that Sakura didn’t catch up to Sasuke while pregnant at all:

And here’s another thing which you guys just don’t seem to understand. If Sakura chased after Sasuke while pregnant, that would mean that Sasuke and Sakura had to have consummated their relationship in the village before Sasuke left, meaning Sakura had to have been pregnant before she left to catch up to him, meaning Naruto would have seen her pregnant, and would have therefore known how and when Sarada was conceived. Thus, he wouldn’t have had any doubts about her parentage, and wouldn’t have been fooled by the results of the DNA test, but he was, because he wasn’t aware of when Sarada was conceived. Why? Because she was conceived during Sasuke and Sakura’s travels. Therefore, Sakura didn’t chase after Sasuke while pregnant. It’s easy to connect the dots.

Not only that, but they’re not gonna have sex before their marriage, which they obviously didn’t hold in the village either. Their marriage took place before they conceived Sarada, meaning that Sakura had caught up to Sasuke before any of that had happened, meaning he was present for her birth.

I don't like Hiro has handled Lucy this arc. First deciphering the book of END, then basically acting as Mavis 2.0. I know she is smart (Not strategy smart tho), but since when did she suddenly have this much control..Its ridiculous. Never seen her really strategise. And you are telling me the guild who have logical people who have formed strategies before & had more battle experience, somehow were all clueless until Lucy spoke of a plan. Disappointed with how Hiro has handled Cana like he's forgotten the broad versatility of her card magic and just use FG when needed. With timeskip, mages like Levy (Whosomehowjumpedaheadthanks2gajevy) even have improved their own magic and yet all we see from Cana is throwing cards like a grenade. Hoped to see some good action from her, but she is cast to the side as back up and has never had a proper fight since phantom lord arc. Would've been nice if she trained with Gildarts during that year.

All true. (Levy hasn’t even improved her magic that much, she still sucks in combat as much as she always did.) Still, we can’t expect too much from a non-Laxus second stringer in this guild. Even the Thunder Tribe aren’t immune, and they’re supposed to be a Big Deal.

Re: Gildarts abandoning her again: seriously? I’m actually seriously annoyed that after everything on Tenrou Gildarts ditches Cana again and she’s fine with it. He seriously didn’t stick around long, huh. The year timeskip would’ve been a perfect time for them to bond.
