What if cassette carriers were messed up experiments ordered by a previous prime? I got this lil au where blaster used to have a dragon alt… and maybe the reason Soundwave hates him sm is because he sides with a prime. I’ve got so many thoughts….

More AU! Had this idea that Blaster and Soundwave had cells next to each other. They learn each other by voice, and before they are deployed Soundwave’s voice box is damaged. When Soundwave recognizes Blaster, they’re on different sides of the war, and Soundwave chooses not to say anything. He feels betrayed that Blaster would ever stand by a Prime’s side.
