i love the not-so-subtle way that blood drive fucks with the “moody dark and broody dude and bright-eyed good girl dragged to the Bad Side” trope with its’ leads

this time it’s the girl who is the moody dark and broody type and she’s accidentally dragged this bright-eyed idealist graham cracker hunk o’ muscle into this mess and he’s not necessarily even her love interest and he still practically does a whole body flinch every time she feeds her car 

this show would be literally nothing without those subversions tbh
