Scandinavian Airlines, stylized as SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System), is a partially Danish state-owned airline and the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden. The airline was founded in 1946 as a consortium to pool the transatlantic operations of Swedish airline Svensk Interkontinental Lufttrafik, Norway's Det Norske Luftfartselskap and Det Danske Luftfartselskab of Denmark. The consortium was extended to cover European and domestic cooperation two years later. In 1951, all the airlines were merged to create SAS. In 1997, SAS co-founded Star Alliance. The SAS fleet consists of Airbus and ATR aircraft. SAS also wet leases Bombardier CRJ900 aircraft.

The US Air Force Life Cycle Management Center recently announced in June 2021. Their contract with Learjet to deliver approximately 6 Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft ($464.9M). Atlantic Southeast Airlines (ASA) was an American airline based in the A-Tech Center in College Park, Georgia, flying to 144 destinations as a Delta Connection carrier. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. ASA operated nearly 900 flights each day. Its main hub was at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). On March 12, 1979, the company was incorporated as Atlantic Southeast Airlines, Inc. with headquarters established in the Atlanta area. In 2002, ASA received and began using its first Delta Connection 70-seat Canadair (now Bombardier) CRJ700 aircraft. After a 2010 merger with ExpressJet, ASA took on ExpressJet name and branding in 2011.

The airline is headquartered in Anchorage, which is also home to its primary hub, Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. Ravn Alaska was founded on June 20, 1948, as Economy Helicopters. The company's founder, Carl Brady, flew to Alaska to work on a mapping contract for the US government. In 1967, Houston based Rowan Companies, purchased the company from the founder. In the years that followed, Economy Helicopters was renamed to Era Helicopters. In January 2014, the combined air group Era Alaska was renamed Ravn Alaska. The company pronounces its name Ravn like the bird, Raven.
