Worked out the chapter titles for part one of book one today. Love that for me.
#writing journal#wip: seafoam#book: tss#sf 2nd draft#most of them are carried over from the first draft#but since i’m fleshing out the first book to make up for the fact that i was only planning on this whole thing being a single book#instead of a duology i’ve extended the content for book one for sure#and the parts are all already titled with the ‘stages’ of a tsunami#since that’s what Thala’s going to metaphorically become#book one’s parts are: tremor; split; and ripple and book two’s parts are: undertow; low tide; and wave#i’m really happy with the changes so far I think it’s really improving the story#looking forward to it being a lot more polished#also#does anyone want me to post snippets? it’s been a while and i usually don’t get much interaction on them so i’m just hesitant#kinda not wanting to tbh but we’ll see
