once dreamnt of going around killing people after falling asleep reading Christie's book. Q : Have you dreamnt of something so similar to what you are reading or just read? I was reading another Christie's book when I fell asleep and started a massive killing spree 😂 I was like slashing through them with a samurai. When I woke up, I was like "mom I just killed so many people!". _________________________ The Murder of Roger Ackroyd by Agatha Christie | Mini Book Review . 4⭐ 💭The story follows the murder of a lady whose marrying Roger Ackroyd and had poisoned her husband to death! She left a letter to Roger telling him the reason why she had done so. She actually got blackmailed by...... Roger did not finished reading it infront of Professor Sheppard and died afterwards. . 💭Later, Sheppard got the news of Roger's death. Thats when the investigation begin, where I've got pretty decepted and clueless until the story got unraveled one by one. . 💭Agatha is using Sheppard as the narrator and made him almost like the author of the book himself. Its a brilliant work I can say! She added so many twist and layers in it and left them for us to guessed and wondered right till the end. I am satisfied by the ending and I am onto the next Poirot Series! . 💭This is the kind of book you should have brought with you on an island incase you got stranded. is going to watch the 2nd book's movie adaptation. Q : Have you read/watched the book/adaptation? . 💭 This is so good! I love how it keeps on going with the plots, characters building and all. There are always conflicts going on. It keeps getting better! The netflix series does not cover it all, but its really good too and ofcourse you need to read the book as well. . 💭 It follows Lara Jean's love letters to 5 boys that got mailed out and one of them happened to be for Josh, her older sister's ex-boyfriend which also is happened to be their neighbour and childhood friend. . 💭 To cover things up, she fake-dated Peter who happened to be one of the boys that received the letters too and things got messier. From there, the story builds up. 4⭐! Q : Whats your prettiest book cover? Mine, I have to say this one 😆 . 💭 This book is peculiar but strangely beautiful. I got sick to my stomach upon reading the last page of cannibalism and some few pages are .... (can't write that in bookstagram 😂). . 💭 This story is just different from what I have read throughout my entire life. It should have young adult version of it minus the eroticism. I mean how often you read a story that its protagonist has an unhumanely sense of smells like Grenouille? He can even create certain scent and odours; a perfume that can drove mens away, scared the animals, attract motherly women who ended up pitying him and gave him food and stuff. The greatest scent he invented is of those 25 maidens he murdered, that made him smells like an angel when he sprayed the perfume on him! . 💭 At the end, what Grenouille really ever wanted is to be loved and a body odours that he oddly missing of. Weird eh?
