Cars 2 Agents AU How did Rod survive II
Featuring: Everyone suffers (but not really)
Summary: the agents were on a mission, and everything went wrong soon after they entered Russian airspace
Again, ' ' means talking through radio/speakers, " " means talking directly
Three hours into Siddeley's emergency landing and Rod Redline was bored.
Holley went straight into her work mode and didn't even complained about his words anymore, while Finn was managing his own thoughts and occupying himself just fine.
Siddeley talked, though, but there's definitely something bothering the Gulfstream V to the point that he wasn't really listening for 80% of the time.
Eventually, Rod couldn't suppress and burst out. "You guys're all acting weirdly. What's the matter?"
Finn was kind of surprised as he joint and finally focusing on the reality. Holley actually yelpped, but quickly gathered herself and gave Rod a look. Siddeley, who seemed to not paying attention, react five seconds later with a sleepy "what?".
'Siddeley?' Finn frowned at that, not liking the combination of "Siddeley feeling sleepy" and "it's bloody cold out there". 'Siddeley, can you hear me?'
'Yes… I supposed that the storm has, well, grown stronger somehow.' And again, Siddeley's sleepy response. 'Did Zil call back or something? It's a bit cold out here.'
'How much fuel is left?'
'About half of a tank.' This time, thankfully, the spy plane sounded more sober. 'I have to say, this isn't really good.'
'Then lower your cabin temperature. We can handle some cold.' Holley shot a worried look toward the speaker.
'No way. It's about minus forty degrees out here, you'll burn out your fuel before I burn out mine even if I only drop the temperature by ten degrees.'
'But you're the only one standing between us and the cold!' Finn glared at the speaker, as if this could make Siddeley feel his worry of losing someone he cared about. 'I-we can't lose you, maybe the storm will weaken and your engine will be back to normal, and we can take off and meet Zil! So save your fuel for later and take care of yourself!"
Holley and Rod held their breath as they watch Finn lost his temper.
Choking silence filled up the entire place, until the speaker cracked to live and Siddeley spoke. 'Finn… alright, I'll do it. Just, tell me if anything goes wrong, deal?'
'…deal.' Finn closed his eyes, took a few deep breath, and opened his eyes again. 'Sorry, Sid, I shouldn't have yelled at you like that.'
'Don't. I know why you're so worry, if anyone has to apologise, that's me.' Siddeley sighed, and fought to stay awake as relief brushed over his frame like a ray of sunshine. 'Well, why don't we start talking and take turns to catch some naps? It will take some times before Zil come and dig us out.'
"How about stories? Say one sentence and pass down to the next person." Holley said with a delight tone.
"Good one. Who wants to go first?" Rod chuckled as Holley swept to her left and made a resounding "ching" when she bumped into Finn on purpose. "Well, I guess it's you, Finn."
"You're always making fun of me, Mr. Redline." The Aston Martin have no choice but to start this chaotic game. "Give me a second… okay, once upon a time, there was this young kid named Sid."
'You're making stories out of US?' Siddeley almost choked himself when he heard his name. 'Use your imagination!'
"No, wait, let's just use the names we all know!" Holley was definitely into the game now. "This will be so interesting, imagine how these people will never know about this and this can be our own joke!"
"Hmm, Holley has a point." A sense of mischief grew as a board grin appeared on Rod's face. "I'll say that Finn is the mysterious old wizard living inside the deep dark forest."
"…excuse me, what?" Finn got caught off guard and could only stared at Rod with his mouth open, trying to say something back but failed completely.
Holley, despite all her admiration and respect toward the Aston Martin, bursted into laughter and knocked him with her front tire. Rod gave in just seconds later and they sat there, losing their calm after all the stress and worry in the past few hours and laughed the hell out of themselves.
Siddeley was giggling, too, and eventually, Finn joined the team and the four of them just laughed and giggled when someone bring up another piece of story with the names of their colleagues, their friends, and even their boss.
*
It went on for another hour, until Finn found himself uncontrollably drifting in and out of counsciousness, while Siddeley had fell into silence a few minutes ago. Holley was on her duty working on the radio, being too concentrated to notice any weirdness.
She didn't know that Rod had passed out even he's pressing hard onto her purple frame.
Finn blinked himself back to conscious, and drove up to carefully tap Holley with his tire. "Hey, you alright?"
"Whoa- Finn? Oh, oh yes, I'm completely fine… but you don't look good. Is the cold starting to creep in?"
"I think Siddeley had lost consciousness a few minutes ago, and Rod had just passed out." Finn shivered when he touched Rod's blue frame, and almost jumped when he accidently bumped into Holley. "Why are you so warm?"
"I got extra tank for flying and extra electricity capacitance cuz I need to strike someone." The purple jaguar shruggled and kept on typing for seconds before she stopped and turn to look at Finn. "You're cold."
"What did you ha-"
Holley just pulled Finn close until they're pressed against each other- just like Rod on the other side. "This should buy us more time. And save me from talking too loud."
Though she sounded pretty reassuring, Finn could feel Holley trembling through his frame.
"Don't worry. We'll make it." He said, with his usual calm voice.
The typing stopped for a mere second. A weak vibration indicating that Holley was smiling made Finn feel better already. "Yeah, we'll definitely be fine."
*
Thirty minutes later, Holley bit back her sobs as she felt the Aston Martin started to lay limp against her.
Come on, she checked the radio again, and prayed desperately, anyone, picked up this distress call!
*
Twenty minutes later, when Holley started to feel sleepy, something hit Siddeley's cabin door. She winced at the loud bang and tried her short range built-in radio. 'Anyone hear me?'
'Oh thank Chrysler there's someone conscious!' Came an overly cheerful voice, and another "bang" on the cabin door. 'We're SOT-76B, a rescue team on duty not far away. I'm Eva, what's your name?'
'Ho-holley, my name's Holley.'
'Good, brave Holley, my dear girl. My teammates are trying to break into your plane friend, can you get any switch to open the door from the inside? We don't want to hurt your friend more.'
'I-i'll try.' Holley looked around in the cabin. Not there, not here… wait, will that work?
Siddeley had told them whay to do when emergency evacuation was needed.
So she drove up to the button and pushed. The door made a cracked sound, and Holley could almost heard a cheer from the outside as someone dug their tines into the ice.
Thirty seconds later, four forklifts finally opened up Siddeley's cabin door and rushed in. One in red paint with yellow stripes gave Holley something hot and tasty while the others checked over her friends.
Holley could sense the tension as the forklift painted in black with white stripes whispered something fast to the one in sky-blue, and they just started typing the moment they found Siddeley's inner panels.
"Don't worry, they knew what they're doing." Said the last forklift, who just finish checking over Rod and gave both him and Finn a shot of something. "I'm Michaele, Black one's Eva, Blue one's Daniil, and this is Alyona."
The forklift in red with yellow stripes waved her tines excitingly.
"Boris is trying to wake your plane friend up." Michaele patted Holley and pointed toward the starboard windows. Holley drove up and found herself looking into maybe the biggest turbines she had ever seen in her life. "This is Boris."
"He's fine." Eva shouted behind the panel. "And the others?"
"Both slowly waking up!" Alyona jumped as Finn led out a groan and Rod blinked weakly. "You made it. Thank Chrysler, if any of you died, Zil will never forgive us."
"…wait." Holley looked at the forklifts in surprise. "You said 'Zil', I thought you're just ordinary rescue team?"
"Forgive me for not introducing ourselves properly." Daniil, with a gentle smile on his face, waved his tine toward his grinning teammates. "SOT-76B, or Special Option Team 76-Boris, at your service."
I think I'm officially into this AU now, writing them making non sense chatter while dying was… quite fun, actually.
@longjiaojiao thanks for the idea of making Finn and Rod friends! Their interaction is definitely chaotic, trying hard to write their personalities as close to the movie as I can

And here're the four forklift OCs!
Boris' chaotic-and-over-energized little partners
The five of them, Boris, Eva, Daniil, Alyona, and Michaele, are the teammembers of the Special Operation Team 76-B, or SOT 76-B
Some details I've come up with, and a doodle featuring Boris, in his rescue aircraft paint job, loading the forklifts up for a mission!

Cars 2 Agents AU How did Rod survive III
Featuring: In which they rest
Summary: the agents were on a mission, and everything went wrong soon after they entered Russian airspace
Dammit, I just couldn't find a proper place for Rod struggling to tell them about his near-death experience and thus considering changing the chapter names
She's in golden red paint. Holley watched as Julia sneaked into the hangar, woke up Eva, bumped Boris' front tires with a cheerful smile, put down the boxes she carried, and waved goodbye to the team before leaving.
"Much like a storm of energy and cheers, right?"
"Wha- oh, yeah, she's…" Holley turned to face Alyona, who had taken out another cup of cocoa and sipping on it happily. Someone's goot to stop the forklift from taking in this much caffeine. "Is she even at your age?"
"Ah ha! Eva, you owe me one!" Alyona made a resounding "ching" with her tines. "Julia is much older than me, even Michaele, if you would like to know, maybe… let me think about someone… oh, she's like Boris' daughter, and I'm more like his granddaughter!"
The Ilyushin-76 in the background made a not-very-heartily protest and said something like "I'm not that old".
Eva chuckled and smashed the hude cargo plane on his front tires. "Aw, but you almost act like that, you and Zil are equally overprotective."
Boris rolled his eyes, and tilted to the side to take a proper look at Holley and Alyona. "Well, if that's how you want to phrase it, then I'm gonna adopt Siddeley."
Daniil choked at the unexpected words, and Michaele made a soft noise as he tried to bit back his laughter. Then, Alyona smacked the forklift on the back of his red helm, and the two bursted into laughter as they playfully chased down each other, driving circles in the big hangar.
Holley didn't realize she's smilling too, until Daniil drove up and tapped her with his tine. "You look good when you're smiling. Don't be too worried about your friends, they're safe with us."
"…thank you, Daniil. It's just- I don't know, I'm never afraid even we're pointed by guns and completely outnumbered." Holley shuddered as she recalled the feeling of Finn lying limp against her frame, or how cold Rod is when Finn told her the American spy had passed out. "I know it isn't good for us agents being too close or too attached to others, but I can't…"
"Get some rest." Daniil smiled warmly, as if he could read Holley's thought so easily like flipping a book. "You'll need it. Zil has so many things to tell you. I'll take Alyona to check on the other two agents, feel free to call us if you have any question."
"I will. Thank you, Daniil."
Watching as the two forklifts headed for the door to the hangar on the left, Holley let herself drift into her own thoughts.
Finn Mcmissile. Rod Redline. Siddeley. Even Mater, who they had mistaken as Rod. They're all great people.
Holley had joined the mission by accident. She's supposed to hand over the information and period. It was Finn who insisted that he'll need her help and pulled Holley into the center of danger. Not that she's complaining, really, she had learn so much from the field, and fron Finn himself.
If Holley's honest enough to herself, she's actually scared of how fast she became friends with Finn and Mater. Siddeley, on the other hand, was not really close to Holley, but they went well together, and their similar age made the interaction more like ordinary friends than mentor and mentee.
The jaguar would probably get lost in her thoughts forever if that bright red figure didn't stayed there for enough time at the corner of her eyes.
Holley didn't recognize that car. She casted a glance at Boris, but the big guy just continuously reading his book and use his wing to cover Siddeley up with some piece of canvas everytime when the Gulfstream V shuddered in his coma and caused the canvas to slip off.
But as far as she knew, the hangars near this one were control areas, no way they're allowing some random vehicles wandering around like that.
Holley looked at that red car, who might be a jaguar too, and got a look and a smile back.
Chrysler, why on the world was this stranger smiling at me?
That bright red jaguar waved a front tire at Holley and quickly headed to the right side of the hangar, opened the door, and disappeared behind it.
"…um, Boris?"
"Yes, Ms. Shiftwell." The Ilyushin moved his gaze from his book to the small purple jaguar. "Anything wrong?"
"Well, that red jaguar… is it fine to let someone else in? Or is the car part of the team?"
"Ah, him." Boris somehow sounded amused. "He's fine, Zil called him in for some security assistance."
"Oh, I see. Maybe I'm too worried about my friends… will you mind if I take a nap here?"
"No. Just suit yourself, Ms. Shiftwell, I'll look after you guys." Boris said certainly. "I'll wake you up if they're awake."
"That will be appreatiated, thank you. And just call me Holley."
"Good. Now sleep, Holley, Zil's gonna push you to the very end of your strength."
@longjiaojiao had joked about Julia being Zil and Boris' adopted daughter, and I think putting this in would be fun, as Eva was almost the same age as Boris (and they're both a bit younger than Zil) and one of her best interests is teasing her relatively more serious colleagues
Alyona, by the way, is the youngest of the team, even might be younger than Holley, while Siddeley being a bit older than she in this AU
And congratulate to our ghostly-wardering-around and having-too-few-canon-scene C.H.R.O.M.E. agent, Leland Turbo for making his debut in the AU!

Cars 2 Agents AU How did Rod survive 2.5 I Waking Siddeley Up
Featuring: The actual debut of Boris (with Boris completely losing his temper)
Summary: the agents were on a mission, and everything went wrong soon after they entered Russian airspace
The quotation marks are a bit different cuz I'm using app tp post this while finished writing it on PC, but still, ' ' stands for talking through radio/speaker, and " " stands for talking directly
Warm was the first thought when some really loud noise woke him up. Siddeley winced behind his visor. He couldn’t see anything, was it already this dark?
He then tried his NVD, but it still didn’t give him any visual input.
Something was wrong. Siddeley suppressed a creepy feeling of something icy cold, and tried to reached out to his fellow agents.
He couldn’t activate his built-in speakers.
Siddeley was almost sure that he’d got caught by some unknown enemies, but a voice deep in his mind, though weakly, was screaming about waking up and starting his engine and Siddeley had no idea about what was going on-
“-WAKE UP!”
The Gulfstream V gasped at the sudden loud voice, his eyes wild, and for a moment Siddeley thought he’d got full awareness of his surrounding. But the next thing he noticed was that loud voice beside him again, almost cracking his audio sensors. “Stay conscious, kid, you will not let yourself drift back into your dreams anymore to escape the cold! You hear me! I know you’re awake!”
But drifting back sounded so appealing, and what was that voice talking about co-
He couldn’t focus on the surroundings through his visor. He couldn’t even see through it.
Was that... ice?
As that realization hit him, a wave of memories of what the past six hours swallowed him. Siddeley fought to stay awake, but he was so tired. Maybe he can take a nap now, ‘cuz that loud voice stop shouting, a short nap...
‘You’d better not give up by now, old boy, after keeping us all alive for so long.’
The familiar tone and that particular nickname woke Siddeley up a little. ‘...Finn?’
‘Stay with me, Sid, the help was already here, we’ll get you to safety in no time.’ Even opening his eyes an inch more took all of his strength, Siddeley tried his best to cling to his friend’s voice. ‘You can do it, just try your best and get your engines start.’
My engines... Siddeley could feel the numbness of his tail and his wings, but his engines were, surprisingly, somehow de-iced and ready for takeoff. He tried, and was satisfied when the turbines started to spin under his will.
“Nice work kid.” That voice again, not so loud for this time, was beside Siddeley and gently pushing him to try harder. “Keep them spinning, now try to open your eyes. You need to look at the runway for takeoff.”
As his pushed his engines to gain more power, Siddeley could feel his entire frame warming up. Wings, tails, and even his landing gears- the backups, they had fixed his flat tires!
He tired to speak, to open his mouth, but at last he could only talk through the radio. ‘I really can’t gain the strength to open my eyes.’
‘Well then, do you trust me?’
Siddeley could feel a gentle touch on his wing tip, and a smoothening caress along his starboard wing. Some deep humming sounds were coming from that direction. That plane must be a big one. ‘I trust you.’
‘Don’t give away your trust so easy, kid, you’re lucky I’m on your side.’ There’s a pulse, and the voice was back, with more demanding in it. ‘counterclockwise ten degrees.’
That meant two and a half circles of his front tires.
‘Good. Now lower the flaps into normal takeoff angle. I’m gonna go first to make sure the sky is clear, could you wait?’
‘Yes.’
‘Tough kid.’ Siddeley thought that he might heard the plane chuckled if it weren’t through the radio. ‘Good luck, I’ll be waiting in the sky.’
The Gulfstream V could hear the sound of powerful engines, much more powerful than his, warming up next to him. The ground trembled slightly when the plane took off, and Siddeley could feel his own wings shaken by the wind caused by the sheer size of the plane and the roar of those turbine engines. It went quiet for a few minutes before the radio cracked to live. ‘All clear, prepare for takeoff.’
‘Roger.’ Siddeley took a deep breath, trying to ease his own sickening feeling of taking off nearly blind, and started to put power into his engines.
‘Keep going. You can do this.’
Turbines speeding up. Engines giving out high-pitched screams. Siddeley could feel the reassuring force that tried to push him forward.
More. Need More for takeoff.
Fuel burned through his lines, Siddeley finally punched through the maze of cold and got a clear look of what was in front of him.
He was in a forest- the one he had merely dodged at the last moment during his landing. But now the trees in his way were removed and the sky was clearer than it was back when he passed out.
Siddeley focused on the field in front of him.
To Safety. The voice through the radio was up in the sky, scouting and waiting. Siddeley couldn’t see the plane now, but if he could takeoff...
There’s the familiar push when he reached the requiring starting power, and Siddeley released his tires and ran through the forest. Trees bended and got chopped when hit by his left wing, Siddeley easily got to the speed he needed to takeoff. First the nose, then his entire frame, the Gulfstream V finally made it and flew straight into the sky.
He could now take a proper look at the plane who saved his life. An Ilyushin Il-76, one of the cargo planes of the Russian, with remarkable bright red sprips along his military-grey frame and three yellow lines decorating his black tail.
‘Glad you made it, kid.’ The Il-76 said, clearly sounding relieved. ‘Let’s get you all back before those fuel burned out.’
‘Sure do. Name’s Siddeley, thanks for saving me and my friends.’
‘Don’t say it too early, kid. Save the talk for your welcoming party.’
Thanks @longjiaojiao for beta and all the discussion that created the other stories of this series!
Boris is totally old enough to call Siddeley "kid", and he does it even before thinking about it- he won't allow himself to lose any life he had a chance to catch.
So the Il-76 just went completely overprotective when he saw Siddeley alone and unconscious in the storm.

Some short clips happens between my Cars OCs and some canon characters who become more and more like OCs
Take I: Zil and Boris and the four medics saving Siddeley along with three C.H.R.O.M.E. agents
Boris: I thought I was just stopping by the airport for fuel and look at me now. What, a Gulfstream V who was modified to be able to hover in the air, was down because he flew into Russian from the Arctic? You've got to be kidding me
Eva: Stop complaining and get to work! Zil promised he'll pay for the bill once we get these idiots to safety
Alyona: *hanging around trying to wake Finn and Rod up and gave Holley her cocoa (with too much caffeine)
Daniil & Michaele: *Trying to make Siddeley stable while Eva gave the spy plane some transfusion and medical treatment
(After they were back in the hangar)
Zil: *typing the bill with an extremely experienced way
Finn: *Noticed
Finn: You're quite good at doing that
Zil: Believe me, I'd rather not be this good
Take II: Leland's reunion with the C.H.R.O.M.E. agents (if only it's single-sided)
Leland, back in his usual red paint and without his frame disguise: Finally, this is what I called freedom
Boris: You've been in here driving in circles and trying to climb the hangar walls for over an hour, why don't you get to explore the hangar next to this one? Zil gave you the permission
Leland: You putting things like that makes me not wanting to go
Boris: The lunatics will be back in no time, I don't want the five of you blowing up our cover
Leland: Fine… but you did know that they can held a party inside you, right?
Boris: *Stares
Leland: I'm leaving!
(After a single glance into the door of the next hangar)
Leland: *ran back the where Boris stays, and now with four forklifts pressing close onto his belly, sleeping soundly
Leland: You didn"t tell me it was THEM!
Boris, with his default bored expression: Figured you'll get it when you saw Siddeley
Leland: Sid was almost the only plane sticking around! He could've pick anyone else!
Boris: Shouldn't this be a happy reunion?
Leland: No. I'm not ready to be not-dead, and if I didn't explain good enough, Finn will probably- bloody hell, I don't even know what he'll say
Boris: You're overthinking. They will be awake in the afternoon, you'd better ready to be NOT-DEAD by then
Leland: Thanks for the support, MATE.
Clips like this are what make me wanting to write the stories that bring the characters up!

Boris putting on his default bored expression watching Leland pacing back and forth trying to come up with an explanation for the whole "He survived and is now working with Zil on tracking the Lemons" thing to both Finn and Siddeley is the most hilarious scene I've thought of for the Agents AU so far
Got to think of some cute (and maybe too cute) stories about how Boris knew Leland
Or how Leland knew Boris
Or it may just be Zil putting the three of them (himself, Boris, and Leland) in a hangar then sit there chilling or making his reports while Boris and Leland experiencing one of the most awkward moment in their lives
Though we probably won't see Boris showing his awkwardness since he's too good at wearing his default bored expression, Leland, unfortunately, despite all his professional spy skills, can't hide his feelings good enough because he's facing a huge IL-76 that can EAT HIM WHOLE with his single turbine engine
@longjiaojiao their dynamic is so entertaining even I'm just thinking about it, and don't forget the stories about how Boris met Zil!

Cars 2 Agents AU How did Rod survive 2.5 II The Hangar is Warm
Featuring: Incorrect ATC radio communications and fictional Yakutsk Airport
Summary: the agents were on a mission, and everything went wrong soon after they entered Russian airspace
I spent two weeks running through information I could get my hands on but at last still copu paste most of the context from some example pilot radio communication
'Yakutsk Tower, Alpha 113, 30 miles northeast at 2500, inbound for landing with Lima.'
'Yakutsk Tower, Romeo Alpha 27405, 60 miles northeast at 5500, request for landing with Lima.'
Boris watched worriedly not so far above as Siddeley shaked and lost quite some level but then pushed himself back high.
'Alpha 113, Yakutsk Tower, squawk 7700 and ident, report entering left downwind Runway 15 with Lima.'
'Romeo Alpha 405, Yakutsk Tower, squawk 3415 and ident.'
'Squawk 7700, report entering left downwind Runway 15, Alpha 113.'
'Squawk 3415, Romeo Alpha 405.'
Though the Gulfstream V might be task saturated, Boris still felt that he should at least talk to the young spy plane. 'All good, kid?'
'Not really, you heard me squawking 7700.' Siddeley sounded exausted, his voice trembling even through the radio as he fought to keep his flight level.
Boris frown at the airport's usual foggy weather- making a VFR on this kind of day was already risky, not to say under the bad condition Siddeley was. 'We'll get you fixed up once we're on the ground and in the hangar.'
'Romeo Alpha 405, radio contact, fly heading 65, descend and maintain 3000. Maintain VFR and I'll let you know when you're clear to land."
'Fly heading 65, descend and maintain 3000. Maintain VFR and wait for clearance, Romeo Alpha 405.'
Siddeley managed to squeeze a laugh through the radio. 'Thanks. I'm just… thinking about the mission. What took us all to where we are.'
It took Boris seconds to realize what Siddeley had in his mind. '…you're not dying, kid.' He said. 'The team had cleared you for this flight.'
'I'm looking around almost only by radar and the maps I could pull from my data banks.' Siddeley sighed as he heard the sudden silence on the radio. 'Altimeter is somehow still fuctioning so I'm not going to run my nose into the ground, but I'm assuming a rough landing.'
'There's our people down there waiting to cover us up, kid.' Boris dropped his level to around 3000 feets. 'Besides, I'm not going to tell your friends about changing flight, you guys look good when surrounded by each other.'
'Romeo Alpha 405, report entering right downwind Runway 27 with Lima.'
'Report entering right downwind Runway 27 with Lima, Romeo Alpha 405.' Boris took one last look at the Gulfstream V that started to descend. 'See you on the ground, kid, Zil will be waiting.'
'Sure do, look out for the mountains and the fog.'
'You should stop making bad jokes.' Boris chuckled to himself, then turn right and approach his runway for landing. 'Romeo Alpha 405, entering Runway 27 with Lima.'
'Clear to land Runway 27, Romeo Alpha 405.'
The Ilyushin-76 made quite an experienced and smooth land on the wet ground. The airport had good de-icing ground teams as uaual, he thought, and spoke again as his wheels slow down to a rather lazy speed. 'Yakutsk Ground, Romeo Alpha 27405, at Zulu 4 requesting taxi to west hangars.'
'Romeo Alpha 27405, Yakutsk Ground, taxi via Bravo 5, Delta Echo, Tango 7 and head for Hangar 9.'
'Taxi via Bravo 5, Delta Echo, Tango 7 and head for Hangar 9, Romeo Alpha 27405.' Boris quickly turned to his left, went pass all the taxiways the groind control told him, and saw Siddeley with only his T tail poking out from the hangar.
"Does he look alive?" Eva was already beside the cabin door, with the rest of the team lining up behind her, all ready for bursting out and into the rescue.
"You bet. How's the agents?"
"Everything good except for almost froze up from inside." Counting down with her tines tapping the wall, Eva couldn't wait for Boris to stop completely anymore. "Let's go mess up, fellows! We're not getting words from Zil today!"
"And not on any other day!" Yelled Alyona from far behind.
The cabin door opened after Eva pushed the bottom on the wall. The four forklifts rushed out into the cold and went straight ahead to the groind medical team Zil had gathered right after Boris took off from Chkalovsky Airport for this rescue mission.
The Ilyushin-76 slowly turned his nose toward the hangar. Siddeley was dragged inside by the powerful red-yellow tractor on duty and was now surrounded by forklifts and cars. It had started to snow again, fortunately they were already on the ground.
"Is he alright?" Boris, not wanting to interrupted anything the medics werw doing, simply poked his nose inside to take a look. Behind him, Alyona and Michaele carefully guided the three cars out off his cabin and into the hangar.
Daniil, who quickly took over the controller position of the rational chaos inside the hangar, gave Boris a head shake. "He's at the last of his strength, I don't think he could hear us or even feel us by now. Thank Chrysler he had his front wheels on the ground before his engines gave up."
"Botj engine failed?" Boris couldn't help but raise his voice. "How could it be this bad? Eva had cleared him to-"
"We don't know yet, but the agents mentioned an engine failure that forced them to land on the icy wild." Michaele tapped Boris' front tires. "He got no major injury. Even his landing gears and tires survived, the ground control said it was a miracle judging from how rough the landing was. They said he looked like he's gonna slammed himself into the ground."
"Now you're all making bad jokes." Boris sighed and was about to leave before he heard a oddly young voice.
"Finally got to hear your for real." Someone said weakly with a few whirl of turbine engines that didn't sound anything close to good. "Told you I've got this."
"…you really are a tough kid." Eva was waving furiously at him, so Boris rolled in and covered Siddeley up with his high and wide wings. Metal slightly scratched against metal, he could feel the tremble from the Gulfstream V as he panted. "Get some rest. We have everything under control."
"…at least, let me know… your name?" Siddeley blinked as his vision got darker. "It's… warm, and I'm so tired…"
"Name's… Boris, Boris Ilyushin Chkalovsky." The Ilyushin-76 got even more closer. The heat emitting from the two huge turbine engines under his left wing made Siddeley sighed in relief as the smaller plane started to doze off and his breathe slowing down. "Nothing to worry about, everyone is fine."
Siddeley passed out within a blink.
"So it's just him stressing himself too much." Eva gave Siddeley's white frame a resounding "ching" using one of her tines. "The agents are just fine, some rest and everything is good. But I'm assuming at least a five-day off for Sid. He had some nasty engine issues."
"I don't think Zil is in a hurry." Boris shrugged, his eyes srarting to lool for something for cover. "Would you be nice and put those canvas on top of us?"
"You haven't de-iced yourself, go get those clean up and I'll do you this favor." Eva chuckled as the red-yellow tractor pushed her old friend out again. "Don't be too late! Or you'll missed Zil's report time!"
"I'd rather missed it." Boris sighed, and headed for Hangar 10 to dry himself up.
Here comes the end of this little side story!
I'm so glad that I finally finished it, and thanks @longjiaojiao for beta and discussion over such details!
Now, as we're back to work on the main storyline, stay tuned for more exciting stories featuring more OCs, canon characters, and the adventures they're gonna go on!
P.S. If you find anything wrong with the radio communication, don't hesitate to tell me, I will really appreciate that!

Start to write the stories of how Alyona joined the CBP accidentally.
Got to make up some emergency rescue mission for Boris saving someone important, or maybe Zil himself!
Poor Alyona, tasting something more energizing than caffeine.
And add more chaos into the already chaotic group lead by Eva.
I can see some research on how the CBP trained their agents
Hope I can find something real and accurate enough as reference

Should have seen that coming
OCs with the same name as Boris
This is quite funny though
Well, I think I could still keep Boris' name since the middle name and the last name are completely different, and I've never read any fanfics including OCs named Boris
(Well, Boris being Boris cuz he's tough and serious but has a warming personality, just as the meaning of this word in Russian)
(Can't blame someone using same OC names right?)
(Stay tuned for more stories featuring the SOT 76-B, it brings so much fun to write them)
