Family Jungle Tours Borneo: The best activities to enjoy together
Malaysian Borneo is the first place that comes to mind when planning an adventurous Family jungle tour Borneo vacation. The country's jungles, tribal settlements, and secluded rivers make it a safe and comfortable option. Short domestic flights, as well as vehicle, and boat rides, add a lot of diversity to the already abundant options for getting there.
Exploring for wildlife
Kuching, the state capital, is a convenient jumping-off point for excursions into rural Sarawak. You may spend the day hiking in the adjacent Bako National Park and then rush down onto the beach, where you could see flying lemurs and Bornean bearded pigs. The ideal time to observe the Irrawaddy dolphins is between April and September.
The Semenggoh Orangutan Sanctuary is worth a trip
Discover how these endangered apes were saved from certain destruction thanks to the establishment of sanctuaries like this one, where they may raise their young ones in peace before returning to the wild.
Which region of Borneo should you visit?
Borneo is the world's third biggest island and is itself divided into three distinct regions. Brunei claims the smallest part, Malaysia the next smallest, and Indonesia the biggest. If you don't have a month to spend in Borneo, it's better to focus on a certain region sports activity like Bamboo rafting in Borneo and learn as much as you can about it.
A river cruise at sunset
If you take a trip on the river at sunset in Kuching, you may see native life as it really is. The picturesque sunset over the iconic Darul Hana Bridge, the cheerful sounds of children playing in the street, and the colorful residences along the river. If you're fortunate, the cruise will also include a performance of traditional dance from the area. It was great to observe Kuching from a different vantage point, and kids adore boat trips, particularly ones with cake and dancing.
You can do Bamboo rafting in Borneo
You may get a new look at the Borneo Rainforest if you go off the beaten path. Try your hand at navigating a Bamboo rafting in Borneo on your own. You'll feel right at home on the blue, glacier-fed rivers of the Sirin when your guide gives you the rundown on how to navigate them and how to be safe while doing so.
To ensure everyone has a good time, you may even play the part of daring and picturesque rafters. In the calmer sections of the river, your guides will fill you in on the history of the area, the medicinal uses of native Bornean plants, and the spectacular landscapes of the Peninsula.
Conclusion In addition to these amazing spots in Family Jungle Tours Borneo, Borneo is home to a plethora of additional must-do experiences. Experience the thrill of whitewater rafting, go back in time on a vintage train from the days of British colonial rule, pedal through picturesque towns and along beautiful beaches, see lush tea plantations and scenic parks, and indulge in some of the region's delicious foods and drinks. In sum, Borneo is a destination that should be on everyone's list of must-see destinations at least once throughout their lives.
