(Spoiler: Yes, he's fine, he just wanted to phase through the ground for a while. Perfectly valid coping mechanism.)
Outside of Ganon throwing a prolonged hissy fit, this is the probably the most relatable part of the game, by far. Though, somehow I'm not sure Nintendo meant for it to be seen...?

So I spent some time stalking hanging out with Dayto, and we had a grand time getting attacked on the first leg of the Death Mountain path. He also has many a dilemma and life question to ponder...

As I think I’ve mentioned before, each traveling NPC seems to have two different things to say when he or she is under attack. This, of course also counts for those NPCs that are scripted to be under attack when you come upon them, such as Leekah here.
That’s quite a number of NPCs to all have different text! Isn’t this an awesome game?!
