Hi, I'd like a matchup, but not the kind you usually do. This is more of a platonic thing. Hear me out.

Say I'm on the battlefield, staring down something big, dark, and ugly. Who do you recommend for me as a battle partner (old and/or new Champions)? In a fight, my preferred plan of attack is to go in fast and strike the weak points, which is probably my best option since I'm physically unimpressive. Which Champion do you think would give me the best support?

(I understand this may be a bit unorthodox, but what can I say? I like shaking things up every now and then)

I am cracking my knuckles with hype to respond to this. My first thought was that Revali was strong and fast, but a bit of further thinking had me reflect that he might be a bit too pompous to happily provide backup or support. [ See how he felt about Link] So instead I'm saying Teba. He's a father and a husband. He has love and care built into the workings of being a good dad; as such I could see him on the battlefield being a brilliant help to another who differs from his own strength. He has the speed, strength, and forethought to provide help exactly where it is needed for another on the battlefield. ~Mod Zelda

While mowing the lawn today, I realized that- despite having spaces where windows would work, Rito village has 0 windows. I like to think it's because Rito, like real birds, are idiots when it comes to windows making them a safety hazard. I then pictured Revali, late to a meeting, trying to fly into the meeting room at Hyrule Castle only to face-plant into a window. Obviously windows wouldn't kill him but it's still a funny mental image I had to share.

I just had a thought of this portal opening up above Link and suddenly every other incarnation of the Hero falls out and when the CDI Zelda version of Link shows up every other Link points a weapon at him and Zelda's like "what the heck, isn't he an incarnation of the hero, why do you wanna kill him?" then CDI Link is all "I'm so hungry, I could eat an Octoroc!" and Zelda's like never mind. Kill him."

This gave me the golden cackle-laugh that I’ve been needing in these trying times.

Headcanons ahoooyyy! ♪

Kass HAS TO FLY THEM PLACES. They are small, his wings are large, he is strong--- LESSGOOO. 

He would sometimes gently rest his beak on them, he can’t exactly preen a Hylian but he can pluck at their gently, tidy it, and rest his beak on them as a sort of quiet bird comfort-love sort of thing

MUST BRAIN HIS FEATHERS INTO THEIR HAIR, or have them wear them. Sort of a Rito thing. Gotta.

He can and will wrap them in his wings when he’s not playing music

Always worried they’ll be tired when travelling even though it’s generally him doing all the work if flying, carrying them or a horse ride on their behalf if he’s flying ahead. 

He knows horse riding isn’t ‘easy’ necessarily, and will always talk about that when his s/o tries to claim the horse does all the work why would they ever be tired.

He would require them to be very willing to be the SMALL SPOON. For love and cuddles and such

I would say ~Revali would STILL not hold back. Princess Zelda, merely another Hylian.Zelda might even appreciate the sassy-sass of the bird ; so few are willing to be so bold with her! [ She WANTS the real you! She WANTS to battle wit and word!]Revali is a boaster , he may not *care* but he CARES and he wants to impress Zelda, like everyone else.  Zelda... might enjoy how he takes the limelight of expected skill. i like to think that link’s ears are bigger than the average hylian’s, and they kind of flicker/twitch when he feels an intense emotion (more like fear or excitement). he doesn’t speak even around people he knows very well, but his ears give away how he feels about whatever they’re saying to him 😌

smol Beedle anon here! Since it's about 2:30 AM and I'm running on about an hour of sleep and the thought of angst... how would Beedle react to his s/o getting seriously hurt in a fight? What if they die? Also... how would he react if he found out his s/o's ex was abusive? and if he met said ex?

I’m so so sorry this took so long, and I really hope you’re still around! ♥

Beedle to his s/o being hurt in a fight ; it would come to be learned he has a fairly good knowledge of healing. Something he would need what with all the traveling. The gentle, yet urgent nature he would take on in order to help his s/o would be a remarkable sight to behold. He would need to help them. He would want to. Seriously hurt in a fight, and not having their Beedle care for them? UNHEARD OF!

Now.. if they were to die. If, he could not save them, help them. Beedle might end up a bit broken-hearted. Sad. He would be one to never move on from his person. They would always remain and it would take a damn near lifetime... or, perhaps not. To ‘move on’ to open his heart to another. Especially if he blamed himself for not helping them.

.... He would NOT like that. And he would want to learn everything about the abusive ex, because he would never want to hurt them [at all] but those ways. He’d never want to be the reason his s/o would need to remember how someone used to be to them especially if it was not good. If he met them, he is not a fighter. But he would fall into an air of worry, of protection. He wouldn’t go out of his way. But he WOULD want to give them what for given an opportunity, again. With his traveling, he must possess skill in order to be able to traverse the dangerous lands of Hyrule.

Hello~♡ I LOVE your headcanons, and wonder how my little cute birb Kass would react when he see his shy S/O who loves music hear him play?

Oh goodness, this is cute! ♥Kass would be smitten with seeing them be SO HAPPY! To be so used to seing them normally be so quiet and shy and not loud or too emotional. JOY from music would be like music to his heart. He would want to play music for them ; sing for them ; let them enjoy music just for them unless he finds a little bit like they’re made uncomfortable by too large of shows of musical affection like that and then he might dim it down and sometimes simply gently play a little before bed, or upon having a special night below the stars.~Mod Zelda
