Okso. Mha does like a rlly good job of showing the flaws of hero society nd never does the "villain points out valid flaw but also kills puppies so 4get it they're evil"

Like there r a lot of flaws abt the fact the most popular in-universe heros r All Might, someone who's big n strong with a powerful cool looking quirk, nd Endeavor, someone who also has a powerful cool looking quirk but also is an ab×ser. Nd ppl in universe know those flaws nd it's shown w/ characters like Mt. Lady, someone who wasn't able 2 go 2 big popular hero schools bc they couldn't accomadate 4 her quirk so she was forced 2 train in out back places until a hero agency found her. Even then!!! She has 2 work part time jobs 2 get enough money since her quirk is so destructive she doesn't get enough money from just hero duty. Or Aizawa too, he didn't think he'd even b a hero either since his quirk wasn't "flashy" enough, so he had 2 work extra harder by training more or adding stuff 2 his hero costume so he could fight better. Nd both of these characters r heros!!

It even shows how messed up hero society is abt different quirks, w/ ppl like toga who wasn't able 2 train her quirk nd was shunned cause it involved drinking blood so ppl saw hr as evil, even tho she's the same age as the other ua students!!! She's literally a kid and I'm the same team as the villains, ppl like fucking shigiraki!!!! But she was basically forced in this role since everyone around her kept seeing her as a villain. We also have characters like Shinso, who both has a quirk ppl call "villainous" and it isn't that "flashy" so he was put in the worst class. Even though his quirk is very powerful and could genuinely help in hero work!! And Shinso is still trying 2 become a hero, esp w/ Aizawas help!

Just the . Concept of ppl seeing certain quirks as evil is so weird bc literally any quirks can b used 4 evil!! Like, Bakugo, Todoroki, Deku, All Might, 13, Present Mic etc could all turn evil one day and their quirks could probably kill tons of ppl, but their quirks have basically been popularized 4 good that Dabi isn't immediately evil 4 his quirk but Toga or Shinso are. Hell even ppl like 13 only being on cleanup duty, bc if they were 2 ever use their quirk on a person (besides emergencies) they'd probably b seen as scary.

There's also quirks that r seen as "useless", esp when ppl talk abt students which is????? Literally jusr. So mean??? Like ppl say Aayomas, Ojiro, Kouda, Sero or (Yes I gotta mention him too,) Mineta, r all seen as having useless or dumb quirks. When yea these guys aren't able 2 look as cool or powerful when they fight alongside quirks like Todoroki or Bakugo, their quirks could still at least b support parts or help ppl in fights. Hell Aayoma is connonly sort of disabled since his quirk needs that belt so it won't hurt him constantly. It's just so weird esp when these r all highschoolers? Ofc someone with a fucking bellybutton lazer or tape arms won't be 100% as powerful as someone with fire powers or the ability 2 change gravity but they could still do crowd control, cleanup, or just general support!!

Nd like. Tbh my fave thing abt mha is that it never does the trope "character that doesn't have as good abilities as others is SECRETLY ACTUALLY so much better than normal ppl :))". Deku still has 2 train 1 for all cause he only recently got it and hasn't trained his whole life, he's still not perfect. Shinso never suddenly gets a new ability with his quirk that's amazing and powerful, Aizawa or Mt. Lady never had 2 show their secret ability with their quirk that makes them better then any other hero. Instead all these characters need 2 just work harder nd accomadate 4 their quirks, they're not seen as lesser than other heros, it's rlly nice!!!

Any ways idk how 2 end this. I like how mha portrays different quirks in general nd how hero society views them, nd that actual characters deal with the stigma of certain quirks nd not jusr all evil villains!!!! It's a nice change nd rlly epic :]!!!
