If you want an all access tour of Houston, tag along with two gold medalists, Aly Raisman and Simone Biles. Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue 2017 swing through Houston, TX began with a full day of fun on the town. We saw the Houston Zoo, NASA, including ISS Mission Control, shopped for western wear and scarfed up some Mexican food. The BTS videos were produced and shot by the Bozzwicks with a Sony FS7 and Dog Schidt Lenses. “I just.. Haven’t really seen Boon in a while. I wonder what he’s been up to, I really miss the dork. I hope he’s alright..”

What have you all been up to?

“I’ve been here and there… More there than here, obviously, but you get the idea. Been seeing some people, doing some apologies where they were due… Trying to mend some old scars.”

“As for Jodie, I really can’t tell you what’s been going on for them. Somewhere during Halloween they just got here in a rush, took their stuff (or what remained of it..) and left me only with the answer, and I quote, “Sorry, family shit’s going down, see you eventually.”. You can make of it whatever you want.”

Heyy! im new to the blog.. can you tell me alittle about your characters or the story going on (if any is?)

Aw hey there dude! Sure I can, I’m glad you’re curious!

I’m not sure how lengthy this will be, so I’ll be putting it under a read more just in case:

To give a quick rerun on the general blog concept; Bozzwick and Jodie are as of now the two main muses of this blog, there are also side muses which fill in for their stories and each one will generally have a more in depth introduction time, like Pavel did! I have a page linked on the blog with the current plot involved muses, which also should explain the concept a little further.

I should also mention, before I start rambling, that I generally tag anything with the according muse contained in the post! It usually goes as “Bozzwick tag” or “Jodie tag” and so forth, so if you would like to check on some older stuff that makes it a lot easier~

However, here’s a (hopefully) quick summary of Bozz and Jo’s upbringing and what they’ve been through so far:

Starting with Jodie, she is a frosty dino/dragon piranha hybrit originating from the icy wasteland kingdom ruled by her mothers (non biological)Moira and (biological)Arabella. (I took the concept of elemental dino piranhas and expanded on them quite a bit headcanon and developement wise, so as a rather important side note I should mention, that they grow up quite fast (up to 7-9 foot) and will have reached physical maturity at the age of 12 due to living in very harsh environments) Jodie was a promising candidate to become the next queen, but ran off by the age of 10 when things took a bad turn once it came out she suffered from dwarfism.

Eventually she found herself in the koopa kingdom since it edged close to Moira’s and Jodie was soon taken in by Mallory as she had nowhere else to go.He tried to keep her off the radar, considering I have a headcanon of dino piranhas being used as elemental war machines in the army (also further explained in an older post if I’m not mistaken), but it was difficult to keep her down and she eventually got found out.

Along the way she met the kid from a family Mallory was friends with, with whom she grew up with. Fast forward a bit and a lot of explanation in the romantic field for Jodie, and they eventually started dating. A crucial part in her life, considering dragon piranhas have something close to what some breeds of parrots have: A partner for life! This made his death a couple years later in the army all the more devastating to her.

At that point Jodie withdrew an incredible lot and was in a bad place mentally for the longest time. She did, however, meet some people whom she’s grown very close with those past 20 years after her lover’s death.

Now over to Bozzwick for now, I won’t get as detailed as with Jodie though since his story is expanded quite a lot ic in older posts already: His story started about 2000 years ago, he was born a lesser fang with a cat bullet mother and a greater fang father and 2 older sisters. Now, his and Jodie’s fates are a little similiar, but it was a crucial bonding subject for them back in the day– Lesser fangs, so to speak fangs who looked more human than feral bat, were considered, well, less than the “pureblooded” ones. So, it would more often than not occure, that lesser fangs will be taken in as servants. They would be raised to be quite, have good posture and perhaps carry your stuff for you.

Exactly that happened with Bozzwick too, but after his best friend Pavel died in a conflict with their landlord, he grew more rebellious. So rebellious, in fact, that his landlord grew fed up with him and had him executed.Fast forward a bit after him becoming a boo and regaining his memories piece by piece, him and Pavel rejoined in undeath and decided to get revenge on their former employers.

In fact, they took out their anger on many, many people in the following few hundred years, but Bozzwick eventually got cold feet and booked it after fucking Pavel over.After that he spent a lot of time in solitude, withdrawing in an old mansion that was left abandoned. Until he met Jodie, that is.

Here’s how their stories started to link:Jodie, maybe a few months after her lover’s death and feeling lost, found herself barricading herself in said mansion Bozzwick resided in and while he was rather irritated at first and planned on scaring her off, he realised that she wasn’t there to be a nuisance like most young visitors he gets.Actually, she looked like she was pretty close to….. Well, do something to herself. Which honestly had him taken back at first, but he did approach her in the end. You could imagine that it was quite awkward at first, two people who’ve isolated themselves for the longest time being eachothers first real interactions after god knows how long, but they did actually end up talking for a couple of hours. There was a mutual kinda feeling of trust, considering it was obvious they both came from pretty bad places and after that night, Jodie would usually come by again every once in a while, expecially when she felt she needed someone.

It’s a very casual friendship, really, and they’re not with eachother very often, but they still and will always share that mutual bond and they know an incredible lot about eachother. Even with how little they see eachother, they know they’re eachother’s best friends.

Now, there are still a lot of muses from friends who have a significant impact on those two, and god I would love to ramble about that too, but I feel like this is getting pretty long as it is already so maybe I’ll get into that another time.

As for recent events though- Jodie is currently not canonically active on here, since she took an unexpected leave during a halloween event that was hosted last year. Her leave is linked to a plot that is currently being worked out in the background and she’ll hopefully be back in the near future!I still do take a few select memes and ooc asks for her though!

Bozzwick is still recovering from the plot that I had hosted including Pavel, or so to say he’s pretty much back to normal and cleaning his place up.He does go through some internal and mental changes atm, though!

So Bozzwick, why did Pavel attack you in the first place?

“I did deserve what I got. And so did Pavel in the end. But King Boo didn’t. I did horrible, AWFUL things and I wish he never got involved. I feel like I’ve been lying to him about my innocence and he had no right to put himself into such danger because of me. Don’t get me wrong, I am quite grateful for his help I… Sincerely appreciated it, but I don’t feel like I deserved it, considering my own past with Pavel and being at fault for his grudge towards me. I didn’t fight back. I didn’t want to. It was a dept repayed and then I had to go get people involved, whom I rather wished to be safe.

So yeah: I messed things up quite a lot during my time with Pavel, hence he sought me out to give me a good beating to. Does that answer your question?”

how are your wounds healing?

“But there’s surely been some… Changes. It’s defenitely not scarring, that’s for sure. There’s been more tears on my body appearing and underneath there’s some tough and rather hot substance. I’m also using that term lightly, though. I’ve almost burned some things in my household already because, whatever this is, has a tendency to ember up. Strangely enough too, those tears move around my body. It’s quite messed up, actually.”

“Either way, I usually wear fireproof gloves at this point, so there’s no further accidents.”

"Hey Bozzwick? Are you home? Thought I'd come visit if that's ok."

Bozzwick jolted, but relaxed soon after hearing the tone of a familiar voice. “Wh– Oh! No, no it’s quite alright.” He lifted himself off of the ground and turned to face his visitor. Frankly, he’d be lying when he said that he expected any visitors, but then again, he was quite preoccupied with getting his place back into shape so that he zoned out more than he’d like to admit.

“You know I–” He had to pause, almost choking on his own words. Smooth. But then again, what do you expect when you haven’t talked much at all in a couple of months. “Ah, no, sorry. Um–” The considerably shorter boo rubbed his hands over his face and inhaled sharply. “Haven’t really talked in a while, sorry–” He added as a short remark.

Bozzwick took a moment to put together what he was going to say and began with a new, more successful attempt:“What I was going say is: I’m actually rather glad to see you, considering I did not have the opportunity to properly thank you for dealing with my little dilemma from a few months back yet.  So um.. Thank you! It means a lot to me that you’ve put yourself in danger for my sake.” While his phrasing improved fairly quickly, it was rather obvious from the sound of his voice that he was still struggeling with actually talking without sounding a little clumsy. He tries, though.

What does your character do when they’re angry? Why?

When angered, Bozzwick usually initially tries to suppress his anger. However, it will only end up piling up to the point of his “body” literally heating up so much, that his “skin” begins to crack open and fume with heat, occasionally even embering and catching fire.That’s generally the point when Bozzwick ends in a fit of anger in which he will shout and break things, and depending on the cause of his anger, even attack whoever caused him to feel the way he does.

There are various causes for him to become this heated, although some do the job quicker than others. It does not help that he is a rather jealous person as well.

How does your character react to/ accept criticism?

Jodie actually takes criticism surprisingly well. Wether she will actually use said criticism or not is the other question though. She’s quite difficult to move out of her usual ways and habits, but she will hardly ever respond negatively to given criticism or complaints. The most likely response you will get is her shrugging it off with a: “Eh, can’t argue that.” or “Shit, whatever dude.”

What are your OC’s greatest fears? Weaknesses? Strengths?

Bozzwick’s greatest fear and therefore weakness is being abandoned and forgotten. That can be drawn from centuries of solitude and hardly anyone even knowing of his existance.

Having friends and even a love interest has sparked a sort of foreboding feeling in him, that results in him fearing of what’ll happen if he doesn’t talk to an aquaintance for too long, or people suddenly turning their backs on him.

For the longest time that was the cause for him to not always quite express himself the way he wanted to, in case his temper would turn people away from him, but as of right now he is starting to become more open with his former mischievous and sarcastic attitude, considering he realised that being a pushover isn’t the solution to things either. Pavel’s assault on him played a rather big part in him overthinking his behavior as well. He’s never felt as weak as he did when he had to face his former best friend, and even if he holds no grudge for it, he wants to be prepared if he ever gets attacked again.

Still, his fear of abandonment remains, even if he does push himself to grow as bold as he once was.

As for his strengths– He’s?? Capable of picking himself up from devastating events?? As well as the fact that he’s quite booksmart, seeing as he had millenias to himself to study. He does, however, get many things he’s taught himself mixed up inbetween his memories and the like. Perks and disadvantages of having lived, or, well, having been undead for a long long time.
