I feel like Tumblr is that one annoying RPG friend that I had back in the day but this time it's about baldur's gate 3.
Like its running up to me going "Bro check out this game it has big women" or "Bro it's so cool here check this out" and I'm just sitting there like "Yeah man sure, so about that wrestling stuff"

Eh since I'm awake with nothing better to do, name guessing time.
Baby Wissmann-Duggar...I know they're expecting a girl but I think it'll be a surprise boy just to shake things up. Brody Garrett, Bryton David, Brayden Robert (was gonna say Braxton but that's too awful even for a Duggar). Girl...Bryten Elizabeth, Braelyn Rose...Bridget fits the scheme and means "strong" so maybe Bridget Faith, or Bridget Elle or something else that means "light," Brenna Claire, Brianna Christine, Bristol Marie, Brooke Charissa, Brittney Nicole, Briar Hope. I guess Braelyn or Bridget, with Bristol as a dark horse possibility.
Jessa and Ben...Hugh or John for a boy, Laurel or Heather for a girl. Still riding pretty high off of guessing George correctly since I actually spent a lot of time thinking about "which religious dude would Benessa name a baby after?"
...I realize you couldn't waterboard that information out of most people but I am who I am.

obvs i like stun a lot but I cannot be truly deranged abt him bc i can't really get a good grasp on his character, like he doesn't have that much going on..... it's just omg pitiable bug guy, kawaii! (I have found bugs cute since I was a child).
like he's completely innocent and has done nothing wrong ever in his life. if he had been a jerk then it would be easy to write his whole thang as a beauty and the beast situation, but that's too easy. his side material seems to establish that he had a cushy upbringing, so maybe like, having a rosy/naive/privileged outlook on life + the subsequent guilt after getting creaturized over having been like that after isn't out of the question (i am desperate to give my guy a flaw)
(also recently I had a Revelation. i think bugs are cute and i have a lot of cute (imo) bug blorbos. normies have a visceral reaction to them, no? do normal (comparatively) ppl think stun is gross? you can be honest)

(anon with 3 Brad/Ray prompts here)
dude!! thank you so much for writing that one out c: I loved how naturally the obligatory test-your-fellow-marine-with-gay-jokes teasing blended with the actual thing that's going on between them. Loved the Australia flashback too and Brad being his first? I'm all for that (and I'll probably be thinking about that detail for the next week thank you), and mannnn. When Ray calls Brad "Sir", you know the shit is on, that last line <3 Like you see them joking around this stuff and then it's a sudden private (as private as it gets) glimpse of genuine arousal.
Please don't feel pressured to do rest of the prompts, only if you'll feel like doing them!
(also sorry for possibly awkward English on my part)
I'm so glad you like it!! Oh yesyesyes the need for Marines to make everythin as gay as possible is my favorite thing- Brad being Ray's first everythin will forever live in my head and play on loop til death, I'm not kidding: first kiss, first date, first time, first literally everythin! And YEAH, moments "alone" were so few out there, they couldn't do shit but bluff really, it's greatttt
I love the other prompts and already have 100-ish words for them, I am mushing them together though so I hope that's okay, it might be a little longer that way?? Idk but anyways thanks so much!!
(Bro your English is great, don't even worry about it<3)

How do you think Galo and Lio act when one or both of them is sick?
As in, in relation to the sickness or helping each other?
Cause when talking about the former, I think they're both insufferable, because neither of them like staying still for their own reasons. Lio wants to do stuff and be productive and gets extremely cranky. Galo gets restless that he has to lay low for too long and finds every excuse under the sun to get active again and he if he doesn't get at least some form of supervision you'll find him pushing his limits much to everybody's chagrin
Now, for the latter... Following the hc that burnish didn't get sick like most people due to their body temperature (tho I find the idea of viruses mutating to withstand such temperature over time to be very interesting, but who knows how different they'd be and that's a whole other convo—), Lio would probably start out panicky but doing his best with google searches and the occasional text to Gueira, Meis, and BR3. Once he learns, eventually, he's a lot calmer about it to the point of being casual. He notices the signs in Galo faster than Galo does (and faster than he does himself, cause when he's about to get sick he gets in denial), and starts readying whatever he needs, including his own iron will to keep Galo from doing anything stupid or wreckless.
And Galo— well, he's had to take care of himself for however many years he's live alone, especially if you hc that he's been on the foster system with no family to claim him, and he's not dead, so we'd assume he's done a good enough job despite his restlessness. So he's got experience, and a life's worth of loneliness hidden under his deeper layers that makes him go extra attentive the moment Lio falls with an illness. He goes the extra mile because he's spent more time than he'd like to admit wishing he'd have someone to help him during such times (and he's so forever grateful when Lio and his friends are there for him now)

I was thinking about Egg’s reforms and they almost certainly had something to do with giving peasants the right to take legal action against their lords, especially the laws of pit and gallows, both the hedge knight and the sworn sword have scenes where peasants have arbitrary punishments tandem against them by someone higher up the social ladder than them, with Tansel and Aerion in book 1 being the most obvious example.
There’s also the sworn sword literally opening with a lower class person (the septon) being executed for talking shit about those with ‘god given rights’ (the king and bloodraven), there’s also the webber man who loses an ear to Ser Bennis who thinks he can do it with impunity as he’s a knight, Ser Bennis also abuses Egg and pinches him repeatedly and thinks Egg can’t do shit about it because he’s just a squire who’s below him in the hierarchy. There’s no way none of his reforms did nothing about it, and this also explains why the lords hated it so much, as a lord having rights of gallows is a right guarded jealously by lords, as we see in the sworn sword with Ser Eustace iirc. Taking this right from a lord would be extremely offensive to the prideful ones. This problem of arbitrary punishment is even stronger in westeros than in the medieval period I think because the church isn’t as strong. Egg probably continued to see this problem in his adulthood as he saw the ‘measures’ taken by Aerion in BR3, probably war crimes against smallfolk, that made him even more certain of the need for reform. It’s possible that he persuaded Maekar to do something which led to the Peake uprising and Maekar’s death, and his association with that might have been the reason why Bloodraven thought a great council would be necessary as otherwise the lords might revolt, or maybe our boy Childpastemaker just wanted to kill some more Blackfyres. This might also be why Egg chose Summerhall, a relatively new Targaryen construction, only about a 50 years old or something, post-Dance, instead of Dragonstone. He knew the risks and didn’t want more smallfolk to die cuz they were at the wrong place at the wrong time, like the poor stableboy Gregor killed in his combat with Oberyn.

I’m Ceres, pronounced like “series”, and this is my side blog meant for all things deemed too feral for the main blog. This is an 18+ blog so MDNI.
Pretty much this is a brain rot blog for all of my deepest desires, so if you’re not into the same things as me feel free to carry on. K!nks are listed down below in no particular order.
Tumblr media
Update: because I had forgotten to say this before (oopsie daisy) DM’s are closed. This is just a blog for me to dump my brain rot and desires. If you’re looking for an arrangement/relationship, sorry but I’m not interested.
