benny's current d partner is caber rn (when he's not busy getting his nose broken in one million different places) and they have been pretty much paired up all season. most people (leaf uncles on twt and ig and most of leafsblr) seem to be in agreement that mo daddy is the one in desperate need of a right dman (benny shoots left so he's like mo). we've only signed him for 1 year ($775k) so he's a free agent when the season ends. whether the leafs are going for a contract extension or looking for some trade value in him remains to be seen but i'd like to keep him personally because he is our simple stay at home dman who hits the bodies and drinks 3.8% milk and kisses caber's nose at the end of the day.
