One of the craziest skies I have ever witnessed....... I walked by the window, my jaw hit the floor, something audible came out of my mouth, I have no idea what.....I grabbed my camera, I adjusted my settings as fast as I could, I raised the lens and captured this......Just as a flock of red-winged blackbirds flew through the scene... It was about 15 minutes before official sunset, and the sun angle was just right to throw shadows from Longs Peak and Mount Meeker into the sky. I have seen something similar before, but not quite this crazy. Nikon Z9 with Nikkor 180-600mm F5.6-6.3 lens at 280mm, ISO 80, 1/500sec, handheld. Former Grateful Dead Keyboardist Tom Constanten Recovering from a Stroke

- “I’ve lost another step or six, so go easy on me,” musician says

Former Grateful Dead keyboardist Tom Constanten is recovering from a stroke.

He was stricken June 17 and an ambulance was promptly summoned.

“Four days in the hospital and now I’m back home,” Constanten wrote on social media.

“The excellent care I got there, plus the early response, made the difference.”

Constanten, 79, said his health is good enough for his July 29 Dose Hermanos gig with Bob Bralove in Delaware to go on as scheduled.

“Still, I’ve lost another step or six, so go easy on me,” he said.
