HOW MANY DATES UNTIL THEY MAX OUT AFFECTION: 

A lot.  Katsuki is the kind of love interest you have to dedicate a whole playthrough for (and probably have to have a guide open).  First, you have to show up conveniently at all the locations that he’s at.  Second, you have to persistently ask him out and accept that he’s going to reject you the first five times.  Third, his route is sure to have plenty of choices where you hurt his pride and lose affection with him. It’s one of those routes where he wonder if the effort is worth it, but when he asks you out for the first time, you realize that it was.

At UA, his class's lesson today was to think of a new move and to make alterations to their costume if they need to, so that they can improve on finding a new move to use. Normally he was not the kind to change it..But what he thought of as of recently, he thinks it's best to change the gear a bit to put his own spin on it...But what.

This was also a time where he hasn't talked to them in months. And he isn't allowed to leave UA yet untill he finds a special move..Crap. So that means he can't get to HQ to tell them the truth and ask if they could make some changes inmediantly-- oh wait, that'll include him telling that he copied the data of them. They'll be mad if they hear that... He can't turn back now.

He was thinking of ways on how to put his own spin to it. Be more on kicks? Nah..Even though she rarely kicks, she still is able to kick. He can't use a spear, that'll be too much of a hassle... He won't even entertain himself with the though of being able to use that form. His recently new abillity could help, but only when he's not using the gear. He really wants to use this oppertunity to make it his own. He could-- wait...His core..That could be a way to help make that abillity and turn it into something for his own! A spear can't be a strong as it is without a material to make it out of.

And inmediantly, Maroon went on writing down what he knew as much of it as he can-- even if there are mistakes in his theories. Failure is a key to success. He started to mutter what he's writing down.

"Let's see, the gear uses phonic gain, which is a power that comes from singing and is used to defeat a specific kind of enemy, but my aura is also able to take a hit of them, but that is after a gear's activation, so there must be a connection to their activation song and nullifying the noise's effects. That means that there's a factor that they or only I don't know of. that means that the relic's activation is the key to that abillity, but I need a gear to be able to touch them... And relics are created to use for gods so that means...THAT MEANS..." He then looked at the sky and smiled.

"I could use a piece of a relic to place it into a core, while using Armor coating aura: Asgard. Yes, that's it!"

And so he continued writing down. Theory after theory. He uses the copied data as refference points to see what he could change on his own theory to make it more his own.

During all that, he notice Mei Hatsume from the support department. With that, Maroon smiled at her and reached out to her.

"Hey, you're Mei Hatsume from the department of support, right? I need your help with something and I think you like this job. I need you to help me find a way to make this gear my own by having my own twist to it."

behind her,  the large analog clock mounted on the studio wall ticks to mark half  -  past two am.   denki doesn’t make any special note of this past mentally kicking himself for having royally fucked his whackass sleep schedule even further,  bringing a cup of coffee to his lips just as she does with hers.    if it forces her to take a break every so often,  he doesn’t horribly mind providing the company   ---   more concerned for her wellbeing than his own,  which would have remained as drastically disastrous in any other setting,  given that he’d probably still be awake and tapping away at his phone in bed if not here with her.

        they’d been making idle conversation up til that point as she recharges,  gaining all the energy he’s steadily losing  ;  but every so often,  even denki gets tired of the sound of his own voice.    so,  leaning forth with elbows draped over knees,  he turns his attention to land on anything in the room he deems incomprehensible by context alone in its naked state of bolts and circuitry   ---   which is,  conveniently enough,  literally everything. 

he settles for some large,  seemingly half  -  finished  ...  thing in the corner,  and tips his chin up to it in gesture.    ❛    wassat one?    ❜
