alriiight! that’s it for me tonight, thank you to those of you who sent something in, but don’t fret if not! i’ll be around later, but i have some prep to do so bye-bye for now :3c catch me on disc!

"oi, magic tape." mouth held in usual scowl, he is quick to pelt something towards the other. whether or not it's caught matters little to him ; this whole thing is just about ready to make his skin crawl. but he holds steady, jerks his head at sero and the thrown cupcake. "heard you're one year closer to death." (happy b'day!!!)

         magic tape, huh? not quite as good as his name, but he knows bakugou well enough not to expect that for another hundred friendship levels -- if even. he’ll take it, sero decides, and he turns on his heel to face him.

❝  yeah, man, what’s  --  ❞  ... uuup? in the middle of his sentence, the pastry is lodged directly into his mouth, frosting first. 

more of the icing gets above his mouth than inside of it, but in a mix of terror and confused awe, sero starts to chew it. part of him wonders -- is it a threat, or is this his version of happy birthday? swallowing tightly, he starts to nod.  ❝  y-yeah. thank... you? ❞

      considering how limited his interactions with her have been, sero can’t help but beam at the fact alone that she’s remembered something like that -- unless, of course, she’d heard one of his friends from earlier. either way, it’s touching, and he gives her a big thumbs up, his opposite hand on his hip.  ❝  thanks,  hatsume-chan!  ❞

some  family  thoughts  for  future  elaboration?!

sero is the middle brother of five siblings! 

he has an older brother in his third year at a different hero school, and another one studying in university who’s about 20 - 21. 

he has twin little siblings who are about middle school aged; probably about 12 now! a girl, a boy 

quirks to be determined

they’re a very simple and happy family! 

they have two cats and a dog! 

out of his siblings, sero probably doesn’t stand out terribly much; but that’s alright with him. i have some thoughts on that but it ties into my general understanding of him as a character which i need a lil more time to compile into one post :’) stay tuned!!!

"SEROOOOO!" there's nothing following for a full beat until a red blur suddenly rushes at the birthday boy full speed and crashing right into him. grin that's not nearly apologetic enough in place, kirishima offers out a gift bag. "happy birthday man!" inside would be a hoodie with a similar pattern to sero's hammock, and a spiderman beanie that totally doubled as a ski mask.

        sero  is  mid- saunter  through  the  dormitory  when  he  hears  the  call  and  he  halts  abruptly,  ears  twitching  in  time  with  the  goosebumps  that  raise  all  throughout  him.

danger  incoming. 

         there’s  no  real  time  to  do  anything  with  this  intuition  (  not  much  good  to  have  a  sense  for  that  if  it’s  inevitable  doom,  huh?  )  before  he’s  going  down  and  he’s  going  hard  –  his  back  meets  the  floor  and  he’s  thoroughly  tackled  by  the  most  powerful  display  of  friendship  of  the  likes  that  he’s  ever  seen. 

         not  that  anything  less  should  be  expected  from  kirishima,  though. 

         one  blink,  two  blinks,  three  beats  of  processing  pass  all  together  before  he  starts  mirroring  his  friend’s  grin  and  he  throws  his  head  back  in  boisterous,  straight  from  the  pit-of-ya-belly  laughter.  ❝  ...aaaand  red  riot sticks  the  landing  --  the  crowd  goes  wiiiild!  ❞ bsero’s  cheeks  burn  bright  red  as  he  shifts  them  both  upright,  hands  holding  his  friend’s  elbows  until  they’re  both  sat  properly  on  the  ground.  

         sero’s  grin  transforms  from  amusement  to  sheepish  gratitude  as  he  goes  to  open  it  and  he  almost  starts  to  say  something  along  the  lines  of  oh,  you  shouldn’t  have! but  ultimately  says  no  such  thing,  because  what  he  finds  is  so  delightful  that  he  can’t  (  and  won’t  )  contain  the  excitement  that  immediately  tacks  itself  on  his  face. 

         the  first  thing  he  does  with  the  beanie  is  pull  it  over  his  face,  spiderman  mask  in  tact.  ❝  DUDE!  check  me  out!  i’m  like...  the  tape-spider-man!  what  if  i  had  like,  eight  tapes?  or...  eight  more  elbows?  i’ll  have  to  talk  to  sensei  about  working  something  like  that  out.  thanks,  man!  ❞

            ❝ dude...  pick up your phone, man. are you mad at me? ❞ the look sero gives him is one of hurt; as if he’s being personally slighted by his friend’s ( apparent ) neglect, but here’s the thing -- not only is he sitting right next to him, but he’s not calling him. he’s just holding his hand up to his ear and shaking it, acting like it is a phone. if you listen close enough, a brrng noise comes from somewhere.
