Someone asked "What happened to the spider that bit/affected your spidersona? did it die? did it escape? what was its fate after biting/affecting your spidersona?"
Which it got me thinking about the spider and other details about my spidersona. My spidersona was bit by this weird centipede/spider mutated creature. My Spidersona, Melody worked as a janitor at a special lab that held different kinds of these mutated insects(?) and the one day Melody wasn't able to work, an accident occurs. Which allows the centipider to escape and somehow finds Melody during the middle of winter.
Another detail is Melody is homeless. Despite having a job, they are still struggling with finding a stable warm place to stay. When they find that the centipider that's suppose in the lab, outside in the cold winter night. They franticly without really thinking, pick up the centipider and rush to find shelter.
Even though they worked at a lab regularly, they don't/didn't know much about the individual insects in the lab and assumes if this creature stays in the cold for too long then it'll died. Little did they know, this insect is able to absorb both artifical and natural light in order to keep itself warm, but because they didn't know, they keep searching for shelter.
It's in the middle of the night, none places around them are open, they are no where near the lab to even figure out what happened, and they're getting colder as time passes by. Eventually, they fall over and passes out under a streetlight as the snow piles on them.
The next day Melody wakes up from beneath a pile of snow that should have killed them and the centipider nowhere to be found. After overhearing a group of people talking about an accident at a lab, they somehow manage to head to the lab and find that the lab they worked was partially destoryed due to a fire breaking out. Thankfully, at that moment they still had their janitorial job and was able to somehow gather the strength to help clean up after the accident.
While changing into their janitor uniform and removing their gloves, they noticed both of the palms of their hands have a bite marks. They brush it off until overhear some scientists talking. The scientists mention of an experiment 777 that's missing along with a couple of others. When Melody nervously asked about what ones where missing so they could keep a lookout for them, the scientist didn't think they would find any of them, but still showed Melody photos of the ones missing.
One of photos shown was of the spider/centipede creature that Melody tried to save and chose not to mention that to the scientists. Before going back to work, one of the scientists points out their short sleeve uniform. Then it hits them, part of building was still in stambles because of the accident and so the cold air from outside was able to come in to where they were at. Despite it being 44 degress frahrenheit, Melody didn't feel cold in their short sleeve shirt.
I'm sorry if anyone read this and wants to know what happened to the spider because I don't know yet. I got carried away with coming up with a short story, that I still don't know what happened to the spider.
My ideas so far are either the spider escapes with no where to be found, it somehow hides in the little stuff thaf Melody has, or instead of biting Melody, it dies/fuses itself to Melody in order to save Melody's life.
While I'm more obssess with Melody Matthews as a sinstersona, I still have some ideas for their spidersona counterpart.

hi Bread! any comic reads you're excited for this next half of the year??
Hey! Um, there's actually a good little bit. I'm looking forward to the last volume of My Hero Academia Vigilantes, Sorry For My Familiar and Emanon that are suppose to release later this year. There's a graphic novel called The Unlikely Story of Felix and Macabber that's coming out in October that's drawn by an artist I like. Cartoonshow is hardcover book by Derek M. Ballard who I think worked on the Adventure Time in some way and I like that series. The kickstarter I backed for the indie manga called Mothers is suppose to be out sometime soon. The comic books Blade, The Incredible Hulk, Arcade Kings, Darkwing Duck, Gargoyles and Gargoyles Dark Ages are all that I have on my pull list and so far I like them. I look forward to reading future issues for those series. There's also a couple that just released and haven't got a chance to purchase yet and would like to like Kanjin Kun, I'll Be Waiting at the Solution, and Pink Lemonade. There's probably a few more but those are the ones I have written down at the moment and remember on the top of my head that I'm looking forward too. (Sorry for the long list).

Last weekend, I played the video game Unicorn Overlord because my Switch was starting to gather dust. While I did like it, the game did feel empty in terms of lore of the world and didn't get to know much of the playable characters by the end of the games. There'a these rapports that allow you to see interactions with certain characters and would have liked to see more random interactions with random ones. I think it would have been interesting to see interactions between Bryce & Travis since both are/were in groups that consist of thieves and/or bandits and even give Bryce (who the game sorta impiles that he's born/from Drakenhold) interactions with the desert bandits like Aubin and Liza. It just disappoints me with Bryce particularly that you can max out his realtionship with both Bruno and Fodo quia, but only get one interaction with each one. *SPOILERS?* Underneath
This post is made mostly for me to talk about Bryce because I've grown an attachment to him. Bryce was the person I gave the Ring of the Maiden to and can't bring myself to give it someone else. Alain already making a promise to Bryce that he's allowed "run him through" if Alain became a corrupt noble and it just makes sense to give Bryce an important and powerful accessory. I don't ship Alain with Bryce, but their dialogue has been kicking, giggling, and sliently screaming "It should be me giving that ring to Bryce!" because when Bryce asks why Alain is giving him the ring, Alain answers along the lines of "I could have 1000 armies and none of them could never be like you." Anyways, Bryce becomes the Mayor of the Fortified City of Solvaquad which inspired me to possibly post some of my headcanons with Bryce and trying to write up a little self-insert/ocXBryce epilouge type fanfic.

I wasn't plan on watching Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, but I might in the future just so I can concept an idea of what my sinstersona looks like in that universe.
Thinking about writing some more details about my spidersona because I can't art so good or who knows I might doodle them receive a handmade plush of themselves or something

Which makes methink how do I describe Melody Matthews as the sinstersona they are? I think they're closes to being similar Madam Web, but they don't have all the same abilities as her. They're gifted in intellegence and can see in the future, though depending on the version of them depends on how much they can control(?) their future sight.

After reading The Boy Wonder by Juni Ba and with the recent weather, I re-read Juni Ba's Mobilis My Life With Captain Nemo because I want more from the artist. Of course, after reading this again, I want even more from him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Juni Ba always has this way in his art style that makes me want to know more about the world that this story takes place in when I see the monster designs and seeing how he draws these echoes of past memories from one of the characters had me invested in this character's past.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I adore how the artist will draw hair in this messy, skrunkly(?) type of way and the designs of the main two fits with their personalities. Everytime these two argue throughout the book, you can feel the tension of the complex, complicated human emotions clashing with each other. They both just want what's best for each other, but in the way that's different from each other.
Tumblr media
There's panels like this one that has so much environmental storytelling that makes me wish I could jump into the robot the characters pilot so I can explore the area. Again, it just makes want more. As per the back the book, gives an idea what it's about. "It has been centuries since the oceans rose and swallowed up all the nations of men. Now only beasts and unseen horrors lurk below the waves, kept in check by one man: Captain Nemo, in his legendary ship the Nautilus. Until one day, young Arona comes onboard his ship, a stowaway from times long past, giving Nemo his first crew member in years. But as he raises the young orphan in his image, she begins to have questions that ask Nemo to dredge up the past: what has become of the world? Can it be saved? And was it all worth it?"

Finally watched Spider-Man No Way Home and they're will possibly be SPOILERS HERE, so there's that.
My only complaint is that there wasn't enough Doctor Octopus/Doc Ock.
My only critism is that there may have been too much fanservice. It was great seeing all the villians tossed in, but Sandman and The Lizard didn't really need to be there. Maybe Green Goblin should have convinced Electro to join him while Doc Ock was on the fence on joining them and then later on decided help out the Spider-Men. Otherwise, the movie was a nice live action special.
It's also kinda funny, how Electro thought Peter Parker was black and I thought they were going to try a clever cameo for Miles Morales for a minute.
I get why people don't like this movie and why people love it. For me, I just see it as another interpretation of the Spider-Man universe. I watched this for Doc Ock, but everything else was fine.
This movie just makes me want a crossover with all the different Doc Ock interpretations.

If you asked me to rate my favorite Doc Ock, I could not tell you because each one has a unique charm that I like. Plus I'm not familiar with the one from the Ultimate Spider-Man cartoon and the one from that one Spider-Man PS4 game.
I really love the one from The Spectacular Spider-Man cartoon and Alfred Molina does a great job acting as him as well. I'm warming up to more so his design for his comic book counterpart because he does have that big science nerd charm that I adore. Plus I kinda see part of myself in cb Doc Ock as well.
I've got an extra pin board and I'm tempted to start another one for Doctor Octopus. It'd be an interesting one when I finally build it up with the different interpertations of him.

Last weekend, I went to a thrift store and the tv inside had that scene of Harry throwing a vase at the glass mirror? to shatter the reflection he was seeing of his dad, but at moment I couldn't remember which SM movie it was from. I wasn't in the store long enough to see Doc Ock's handsome face if it was 2.
