Bread came to lay in my arms at like 4 am and brought her poorly made stuffed dinosaur with her and I'm still crying at how sweet that is.

I work in the rescue world and let me say that Breadstick is ADORABLE and GORGEOUS, I've seen a lot of dogs that look like her and they were always some mixture of pit/cattle dog 🥰 I could see German shepherd and or/Aussie, maybe heeler too. Basenjis are super rare in mixes and rescue and I don't see anything basenji-likr in pics I've seen of her but you know her best, what makes you think she has some?

So before she found her voice she did a half bark half yodely whine ALL the time. And so I entertained myself by looking at some 'senji pics and she has an awkward lill body vaguely resembling them besides her tail. Her body is so dumb ahah. Like. Idk if it's her teenager body or what but her ribs are awkwardly too large ahaha. Anyway~

She's DEF cattle something or other bc she's a little fucking ANKLE BITER. My other dog is not loving that about her aahahah. And also her paws are shockingly webbed.

I know almost every rescue has pit but her head just isn't hard like the pit mixes I know n her lil tail is less rope like? I kinda feel like she's not much pit? Idk literally anything tho lol.
