LEO ZHENG PLAYS DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS

"hello! welcome to my channel! I'm Zheng Leo, you may know me from variety shows like planet influencer or human theater. mini-dramas 'nova iuventa: chapter one' and 'marine corporation'." saying all that out loud was surprising. he couldn't believe he had so many accomplishments. and that didn't even include his cfs. this was something new to him. too bad he didn't have his good luck charm with him (that being cherry).

"on my channel, we will explore different games and i will give my honest review of it. some of the games i have played in full and i'll go into different storylines, and others i only played a few hours and will give a shorter review. but i will always be up front about it" leo explained as he moved his mouse waking up his computer.

"today we will be beginning the Dragon Age series with dragon age I. there are three games in the series, and they have been working on the fourth installment for the past ten years, and recently released a trailer in december." dragon age was one of the first rpg games he really got into. and he was very excited about the next part in the series being based on solas. for the first time, it would be a direct sequel from inquision.

"the graphics is very different in origins than it is for inquision. but if you think about when origins came out, it would make sense. aside from the storyline you can also have a romance option. the three choices i would be most are alistar who's the future king, leliana who becomes the left hand of the divine in the third installment, or morrigan who also plays a role in the third part. i won't say for her, because it goes into the next game."

as he's speaking he just knows that fans are actually seeing his nerd side. a side of him he knew that he hadn't displayed before. he only hoped that they would enjoy this side. leo showed pre-recorded game play showing the parts of the storyline he enjoyed the most of the parts that he played. after about an hour of clips, he ends the video.

he felt very proud of making it through the very first episode of his youtube.

Volvi despues de varios dias sin estar activa! He querido mostrar esto desde hace tiempo pero en ese entonces aun no le habia dado un nombre y una info a este nuevo OC 😅

Lucia Brightcloud, una monstruo recien ingresada a la universidad "Monsters university". Lucia se habria inscrito a la universidad un tiempo despues de que Mike y Sulley se fueran. Los monstruos veteranos que estuvieron en las hermandades ya estarian haciendo sus practicas o continuando con sus estudios en la universidad.

Sin embargo, Lucia no se habria inscrito para el programa de asustadores, sino mas bien…para el programa de artes plasticas y visuales, ademas de tambien unirse en el servicio del periodico escolar como encargada en la fotografia.

Sus comienzos en la universidad la llevarian a formar amistades con estudiantes ya avanzados o nuevos, siendo estos Sasha, una monstruo que se habia unido a las Eta hiss hiss (HSS), pero que a pesar de sus diferencias, ambas se llevaron bien. Mientras que a las semanas de sus primer mes de clases conoceria a Cream Unicorn cookie y a Kouign Amann cookie.

Tambien, en algun momento ella se habria encontrado desde antes con Johnny y Capsaicin. A pesar de que su interacion con Capsaicin cookie fue de la mas amistosa y agradable, en el caso de Johnny…pues…si hubo algunos roces y complicaciones, mas por como era Johnny de ser alguien orgulloso, mientras que Lucia una chica ordinaria que solo busca disfrutar de sus hobbys y del arte…obviamente polos opuestos! Pero con el tiempo esto iria mejorando y cambiando.

due to everyone’s schedules and the number of channels renewed, we limited the number of personal channels accepted.

we’ve mentioned some of the rules and requirements to this over HERE, but we wanted to expand a bit further so you can get a better idea of how the personal channels are set up:

depending on the muse’s NOTORIETY (at the time of this post), the writing requirements may vary slightly so please pay attention to that when planning when to write the solos/posts!

once the debuted artist has created a personal channel, they will be expected to pay any of the expenses that might be used. so if you’re planning on doing some sort of game or challenge with a guest, do note that they will be given the bare minimum especially that the selected artists are just starting their channels.

since there is an option to invite a GUEST on the show once per trimester, this will probably be filmed during a time when BOTH the host and guest are free. generally speaking, actors and idols usually are the busiest due to their schedules followed by models and trainees so take that into consideration when thinking of who to invite. for this term the guest has to be a debuted artist (idol, model, actor) who doesn't own a personal channel (in the case of crystallis, since they have a personal show it is fine for them to make an guest appearance if need be).

as a reminder, we discourage any prior plot calls off dash to ensure fairness and inclusivity towards everyone who might be interested in participating as a guest on the personal channels.

in terms of traveling, the debuted artist can travel to different parts of korea but most likely that will be filmed on sunday, which is the day that everyone has a day off (exception is if they’re given a holiday break like chuseok). if the debuted artist plans to do that at any time during the trimester, they will have to do all of the filming by themselves.

the length of the videos vary, but typically each video is about 10-25 minutes long with all of the editing!

like mentioned previously, the guest will NOT receive any points for replying to the thread if the personal channel owner chooses to do the thread component. in addition to this, it is encouraged that any of the HOST muns who have multiple muses should be mindful of whether they should guest in other people’s personal channels. this is because we want to consider this as an opportunity for the HOSTS to get to know their fellow colleagues and use this as a chance to thread with muses whom they might not be able to interact with on a daily basis due to their schedules.

after the deadline has passed, we’ll add on the lgc master sheet (specifically on the LGCMEDIA SCHEDULE tab) when the episodes that you’ve submitted were aired. as a reminder, the debuted artist has released more episodes than the number that was written for this trimester.

LEO'S GIFT FOR HIS MANAGER

write a 300+ words solo about how your muse decided to show their appreciation this year. pick one of the four options available:

GIVE an APPRECIATION GIFT to the MUSE’S MANAGER

leo wasn't someone who was great with words. he was more of an open mouth insert foot type. so he figured, he'd rather be safe than sorry, he would buy his manager a nice gift. something that would really show that leo cared, that he listened to what his manager had to say.

so over the weeks prior he decided to pay extra attention to his manager. what he wore, asked about his interests, and what he needed in his day to day life. that was one thing anyone in his life could say, leo knew how to pick a gift. he would do his best to get something the other person truly desired.

on the sunday before valentines ( since he was already out getting yuxi's gift ), he went and looked for the perfect gift. leo looked through the necklaces, bracelets, rings. all of them looked out of place and didn't scream out his manager's personality. the more he walked then more he got annoyed. not outwardly annoyed but anxious about not finding the right gift. but soon he came across the watch collection.

he remembered him wearing a watch, but it was very old. looked as if he had purchased it decades before. maybe he would appreciate a brand new one? leo took a deep breath and scratched his head looking at all the different options. "why are there so many watches?" there were so many he had to take a moment and think what type of person his manager was. was he the type who wanted a rolex? or was he the type who wanted something more low key?

by the end of the shopping trip he decided on getting him a low-key version of a rolex. not one with a whole lot of diamonds or anything. but one that was pretty durable.

2023 self-reflection.

“what were some of your greatest accomplishments this year and out of all of them, which one was the most memorable one for you?”,

"my greatest accomplishment this year was being cast in two shows. they were different in many aspects and it was fun to share the screen with so many talented people. i think the most memorable one was filming nova iuventa: chapter one. the character was really fun to play."

“what area(s) do you think you’ve personally improved on since the beginning of this year? [please list out the skill(s) and reason(s) why]”,

"i believe that i have grown in all of my targeted skills. i have grown exponentially when it comes to performance and acting the two skills after those would be variety and hosting. i hope to reach the level of skill to be able to give out an award or do interviews for the year end awards next year!"

“what are some of your personal goals for 2024?”,

"the biggest personal goal is to keep growing a variety of on screen characters. i want to keep branching out. i want to be an actor that fans are saying 'oh he can play a character like that too?' i would enjoy opening my own youtube channel to communicate more with my fans. and do things that bring people joy."

“aside from your main career path (actor), are there any types of gigs outside of it that you would be interested in doing in the future?”

"i would love to host or cohost a radio show, have more endorsements/cfs, maybe even star as a storyline extra in a music video. the sky is the limit."

is this a dream?

when the announcement came leo didn't know how to react. he, of course called his family to tell them about the news. but he didn't fully believe that this wasn't a dream. that he was actually being nominated for an award. and not just any award 'best new actor' it was surreal to him. even as he walked and talked with reporters and press about the achievement he really didn't know if he should pinch himself or jump for joy.

but right now they were at the company gala. he still had time to worry about the pending awards. to force himself out of his own head he searched the crowd to find anyone that he was close to. immediately he spotted @lgcminkyu. someone nominated for the same award he was.

leo walked over, drink in hand, "i just can't believe it. people really enjoyed martine a lot" he knew the drama was fresh and fun, but to be nominated was just amazing to him.

in theory leo would love to be able to participate in a musical. he enjoyed watching them, but he knew that you had to be so much more talented than leo thought he was. granted leo knew where his strengths were. none of them encompassed singing or dancing. so that left him with one option.

but it was an option that he liked very much. he could audition for another supporting role. he wished that he would have enough training under his belt to audition for lead, but only time would tell. the first person that came to his mind to talk about the casting was one of his closest actor friends, haemin.

leo had grown surprisingly nervous. he hadn't been in many variety-type shows, and they were as much as a show could get in his eyes. he needed to make his team look good, as well as himself. but he couldn't make himself too serious or it wouldn't be funny. comedy was important in a game like this. leo shook his head with a chuckle before looking around.

spotting hayoung he walked over with a smile. "hey stranger. find any cats in trees lately?" he teased remembering the last time they had run into each other. he was still thankful for the help she gave him with lixue that day. "so what type of strategy do you have for the game? i'm trying to get everyone's ideas" he had some very funny ideas that would make fans chuckle, but it would be nice to see everyone elses as well.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

this year was the first birthday that yunxi had after he officially debuted. it made him excited about who would come out for his birthday cafe.

but first things first…he had to make a menu.

when the staff had requested him to go to the cafe to talk to the baker and barista the excitement went through his body like electricity. but what ideas did he have? he walked into the cafe before opening hours to talk with the staff about his ideas.

"good morning leo. what ideas do you have for us?"

he wanted to show his life and where he came from. so the first thing that came to his mind would be milo balls with a milo drink. the milo drink was a cross between hot chocolate and malted milk. and when combined with crushed biscuits and condensed milk, you’ll have truffle-like cake balls that are to die for. but then he thought about it and maybe using milo powder may not be the best thing for the drink shops. maybe he would come back to that idea. another idea he had was australian mango cheesecake bites. they would work perfectly during the hot summer months since they wouldn't be heavy on people's stomachs.

"so i have a few ideas. we could do a traditional pair that australians grow up loving milo and milo balls. each guest could choose how they want the milo drink made ( milk tea, just milk ), and the truffle cake balls topped with coconut would go well with it. or we can go with an austrialian style mango cheesecake topped with mango slices."

for the second idea for the desert, he didn't know what would best be paired with it. "which do you think would be best?" the baker thought things over and thought of which options would be good sellers and which options would also show leo's personality. so ultimately they chose to pick the mango cheesecake. after the baker expressed his opinion of the mango cheesecake the barista spoke up.

"why don't we compliment it with a mango iced lemonade with passionfruit boba." the barista stated waiting for leo's responce.

to say yunxi was surprised that he got a modelling deal, just based on the filming in the make up room for halloween would be an understatement. yunxi was estatic to finally be kicking off his modelling career, and with a wonderful brand like 'healing bird'. he honestly had been using them for awhile to keep his hair from being as damaged as it would have been, seeing how much he dyed his hair. yunxi dressed in his best suit preparing for the press conference. he knew that his family would be watching, because he was representing china! 

yunxi sat down at the table with a paper in front of him. this was going to be the layout of the questions that were going to be asked of them today. he was happy that most companies did this, so they weren't put on the spot and they could be prepared. of course yunxi wouldn't be asked every question, but mentally he wanted to be prepared for each of them. 

QUESTION #1: "what are your feelings about representing the brand"

yunxi's feelings about representing the brand is nothing short of thankful, and with the people he got to represent the brand with made it even better. one was his best friend, and the other was a talented model that he didn’t get the privilege to interact with yet. and the brand that he used on a daily basis, with varius products. 

QUESTION #2 & 4: "favorite products of the brand" &  "how do you use the products of the brand on the daily"

this was the easiest question for him, and it would be the same answer for the final question. each and every day he washed his hair with the cherry plossum & cherry shampoo and conditioner. but every so many months he uses the Healing Bird - ultra protein no wash ampoule treatment set to heal his hair from the damage of dying his hair. all the products he uses helps him maintain his soft and smelling good hair. 

after fully going over the questions yunxi prepared for the camera to begin rolling for their press conference. he suddenly when from the calm and confident to some what nervous. but who wouldn’t be nervous when it was your first time at something. he watched as the host began the conference and preceded to begin with the questions.

NEW FACES AWARD - BITTER TONGUE

leo wasn't known for caring about other people's opinions of him. but that was only to people that he didn't know. he cared about what those around him said. even if it wasn't the best story. he also cared about if they were okay for fans to know about. but the time had passed and he hoped that the fans liked it.

today they were doing an awards ceremony. he didn't think of much of it. leo had way too much on his mind to put any effort in the thoughts. but he had to make the most of any opportunity he was given. he had to show up and accept any award that he was given. and be as much of himself as possible.

he arrived to the venue that they were taping it in one of his favorite suits ready to tape with everyone about accepting the awards. all he had to do, was think of when he accepted his award this year 'rookie of the year'.

half way through was when his turn finally came. he didn't know what exactly his award was so he was surprised when his face appeared on the screen.

"and for the actor who drank the most bitter tea..... Zheng Leo!"

after hearing his name he smiled and walked up to the stage. "thanks for thinking of me for this award! who would have thought that being nosy with my friends and fellow actors would give me such an honor? i'd like to thank most importantly my sister Amelia. and all the actors that are here today. especially my close friends haemin, sujin, and minkyu. thanks for always having my back and saying the best things about me in that episode. the biggest thanks to my mentor jieun, for always giving me advice on my roles. without you my characters wouldn't be as full. thank you everyone for constantly following my career"

leo knew that he probably should have tried to make it funnier, but leo was never good at comedy. he just had to try his best.

leo enjoys his character cai xiaokang. he feels connected to kang in a way that they have similar backgrounds. even though kang was raised in korea (where leo wasn't), both of them had family backgrounds in finance. leo looked up to kang a lot, because of his success and ability. leo feels like his character isn't afraid to be that domineering type of investor/ceo. leo believes that initially kang's plan of buying smaller/failing companies was to help ara. it kind of felt out of place because leo didn't believe kang had any strong connections with anyone. he was more of a complete business minded person. that he didn't care about personal relationships. but then he realized it wasn't kindness, but more of a money making idea which made more sense.

his strengths (117)

leo believes kang's strengths are in his business mind, his ability to keep his emotions out of places they don't belong, and being able to hold his own. kang is able to make money in everything that he does. even though it isn't showcased leo believes that kang has a no nonsense mindset. so if kang found out that someone was stealing money or was lying to him in some way, he would take action against them. so if he found out what ara was investigating, he would in some way help her expose them. but he also believed that their secret scheme was also him punishing her in his own way for technically being a fraud.

his weaknesses (65)

kang's weaknesses can be found in his strengths. where kang's mind is full of business and no nonsense, he doesn't leave much time to his personal life. he doesn't have close friendships and that includes his family. his family is the stereotypical wealthy family. which will probably lead him into his own arranged/business marriage, which would probably explain why he doesn't care about romantic relationships.
