I just saw a post about F1 teams discussing if/how to use the heart rate monitor they are displaying. And it made me miss the MotoGP one, and how everyone in the paddock was concern about Maverick not being human because it always was so low.

And also the time they put one on Brivio, who always was on a brink of a heart attack.

I want that monitor back! I want to know if Maverick is half lizard! I want one on Kawaushi-san to know if he’s one of those persons who never show the stress level or if he is just that calm. I want one on Puig every time he hears one of his riders has crashed, have to retired or they run out of spare parts due to the crash

Now that Brivio is back at the paddock, I need DORNA or MotoGP to bring back the heart monitors. I need to be able to compare Maverick 'I'm nearly death in a bike' Viñales to Davide 'I'm 2 seconds away from a heart attack' Brivio.

Where they useful? No, but I miss them and they where funny

While I knew f1 drivers are prohobited from doing dangerous stuff (unless you are Charles Leclerc and can make puppy eyes, then you can run half a marathon, wall climb, ice wall climb, scuba dive, ride and water scooter and what not), but I did not know red bull (and probably other drivers) have it specified in their contract they can't even drive a motorbike - which some of them wanted to do at Honda thanks day seeing Marc Marquez on his bike

do u ever think about the secret meetings rossi had with yamaha before making the switch from honda that involved him coming into the paddock in the middle of the night sneaking around with a hood on just so he could sit on the bike and also jarvis and brivio hiding under a table when they heard someone outside bc i do all the time
