tord is a 21-year-old unaffiliated agent of chaos. constantly butting heads with the other nellis air force residents, he became the first boomer to leave the base in 50 years after one of his inventions mysteriously exploded, claiming an arm, an eye, and most of his hearing at age 19. he has big dreams of conquering the mojave and uses his experience as a prodigy engineer to keep a steady supply of explosives for that exact purpose.

his main enemy is the NCR, although he’ll also attack legionnaires on sight. his recent visit to primm wound up with a hole in the NCRCF’s side and a mysterious stash of explosives at the prisoners’ feet. this is also when he found and repaired ED-E (affectionately referred to as “eady”), whom he treats like a beloved pet. they frequent the strip and have a give-and-take relationship with the brotherhood of steel, trading technical skills and information for materials and vice versa, as well as sharing a common goal of taking down the republic. tord has a lot in common with veronica, but she doesn’t quite have the stomach for his more violent endeavors.

his main goal as of 2281 is to assassinate president kimball, but he hopes to eventually take the strip for himself before uniting the brotherhood and the boomers to retake the hoover dam for new vegas.

SORRY WEEZER EDD AGAIN LMAO

For context we've (me and @shran :3) decided that Eduardo would listen to Radiohead and Edd would listen to Weezer so that's why he's listening to Weezer again

And YES I DID already make that joke with Future Edd but SHUT UP there is no future Edd in Fallout there is only EDD and he's COPING

I feel bad cause like Tord, Edd and Tom have a storyline together but Matt doesn't really 😭😭 he's apart of The Kings and those Elvis impersonators it's horrible but like him and Edd are buds, he goes to the followers of the apocalypse for like meds n shit sometimes but besides that we've not got much for interactions between them

Speaking of which, Edd is part of the Followers of the Apocalypse and at one point so was Tord before he left for the Brotherhood of Steel with his advanced weaponry and general robotics and technology knowledge, a true genius of his time

And there's like a fucked up dynamic because of that, like in platonic Edd & Tord timeline Edd finds Tom and at first is keeping him close because he reminds him a lot of Tord with his attitude and general way he carries, but eventually does get genuinely close to Tom as good friends and not replacement Tord

However,,

Romantic Edd/Tord timeline Edd finds Tom and truly can only see him as a rebound for Tord and might even catch feelings for Tom in an attempt to fill that hole in his heart because New Vegas is so fucked but this is NOTHING compared to Eduardo I'm gonna shake him around lounge a dog toy

Tom, by the way, is ex-NCR, New California Republic, and it's not a title he's proud to have but becoming a follower seemed better for him so he's not complaining too much about it, besides he's met Edd and Edd seems nice enough, no clue who this Tord guy is he keeps talking about but leaving for the BoS seems idiotic so he doesn't think they'd get along - no matter how hard Edd pushes that they'd get along real well
