What is the story behind Solar Corp??

SOLAR (branded the HIVE in v10) was a research company with more resources than brains.

They were responsible for creating the fabled “latency reactor” or “latency generator”, which caused massive issues in the Broville time-space continuum. 

An incident in the HIVE during early experimentation with latency generator technology created the alternate universe in which lives the current day Broville v11.

After the incident, SOLAR quickly became bankrupt from paying many settlements to the remaining citizens who survived/made it through the universe splitting in two.

As a result, all of SOLAR’s facilities were quickly abandoned, leaving many of their operations still full of equipment and other interesting artifacts.
