Going back and forth between my current Bryn playthrough and my Brynstarion save really shows how much the lighting the Wilderness areas really washes her out. You can see the actual golden hue her skin is supposed to be here (especially compared to the pallor of her undead boyfriend).

God that touch starved post. That’s the source of Bryn and Astarion’s fight the night after the Gandrel fight. He craves that gentleness she gives him but after 200 years living in pure hell it’s too much and it makes him sick and he lashes out. The next time they talk is the mirror conversation (perfect timing to happen the night after Bryn dies) he feels that resentment well up again as she inspects his face and forces himself to swallow it down so he doesn’t lash out again.

act 1 brynstarion fight you say 👀👀👀

Yes! It's the one they have here. It was too good not to recreate in this playthrough and the combat against Gandrel went pretty similarly (Astarion going unconscious immediately and Bryn having to revive him), except with the added bonus that Wyll is there now so I can get the "kill any monster hunters except for Wyll...maybe" line from Astarion.

Last playthrough they made up that night. Bryn had triggered the "i suppose you want to hear about Cazador" when she went to tell him he can feed on her. BUT this time around, it was actually his turn to rotate out of the party, so they get to stew in it for a little bit. AND, because of the update, she's not even the one that talks to him night, Shadowheart does it for her.

And then Bryn dies the next day lol
