That Beej's conception was transactional. That his mother was a mortal who died and made a deal with a demon and that's how Beetlejuice came about. She obviously never really wanted him, and I hold the DC canon that he was "born dead"...in other words, his mom conceived and had him in the Netherworld. She's a "literal demon", and yet she has an obvious death mark? (Holdover from the movie but STILL) So she was alive at one point, died, gained the powers of a high level demon...and had a child she didn't want. Yeah, I think your comic sums up my headcanon pretty cleanly! 😁
