Watched Beetlejuice Beetlejuice and

It was something

TLDR: It's a fun time if you really don't think hard about anything at all. Very fun scenes and some jokes land really well, but the story is not great and the way the characters are written are just so eh.

SPOILERED THOUGHTS BELOW

I went in with 0 expectations and came out both having fun and being so disappointed. The ex-wife character is so boring, they did nothing with her after her phenomenal intro. The plot with Lydia's daughter is a worse version of the musical's arc for Lydia and Charles. WAY too much Jeffrey Jones I fucking hate that man. I wish they did more with beetlejuice instead of making it sound like his sole goal is to marry Lydia for marrying Lydia. The boyfriend plot with Astrid was so boring. It could have been done much better or not at all imo. Also, really wanted to vom at the pregnancy joke. It was just narsty af.

Anyway, those are just quick thoughts on the film. Delia was 10/10.
