you  pronounce  her  name  like  zara  ,  but  at  the  start  of  college  ,  she’d  gotten  the  nickname  zully  and  it  kind  of  just  stuck  .  it  was  easier  to  pronounce  ,  more  efficient  for  her  professors  to  remember  ,  and  it  became  a  staple  .  the  nickname  was  probably  given  the  start  of  freshman  year  ,  by  someone  on  campus  ---  likely  an  ex  boyfriend  /  girlfriend  ,  or  an  ex  best  friend  .  so  if  you’re  interested  ,  in  that  just  lmk  !

zahrah  is  actually  a  twin  ,  and  her  fraternal  sister’s  name  is  nimah  .  they  hav  always  been  extremely  close  ,  and  look  a  lot  alike  ,  despite  not  being  identical---  you  could  confuse  them  to  be  ,  if  you  didn’t  know  better  .  their  parents  moved  to  cambridge  from  nigeria  when  they  first  got  married  thirty  years  prior  ,  and  her  mother  is  a  doctor  on  a  medical  floor  at  the  hospital  .  their  father  passed  away  when  the  girls  were  sixteen  from  a  cardiac  issue  ,  and  was  a  retired  medical  professional  as  well  .  

when  their  father  passed  away  ,  he  put  money  away  for  the  girls  to  start  their  lives  and  go  to  college  .  however  ,  nimah  had  always  been  more  of  a  reckless  spirit  ,  despite  zahrah’s  freedom  .  nimah  moved  to  new  york  city  the  second  she  turned  eighteen  with  the  money  their  father  left   her  .  this  of  course  ,   causing  a  rift  between  the  twins  and  their  mother---  while  zahrah  went  straight  to  university  and  her  half  of  the  money  dried  up  into  tuition  fees  .  nonetheless  ,  zahrah  has  always  been  in  the  middle  of  a  the  feud  between  her  sister  ,  and  their  mother  .  

zahrah  is  often  misunderstood  ,  and  this  comes  with  the  complexity  of  who  she  is  .  it  wasn’t  a  mistake  that  the  men  around  campus  began  to  notice  her  the  moment  she’d  offered  a  kind  and  inviting  smile  .  though  ,  while  getting  to  know  her  ,  whether  it  be  because  she  was  uninterested  in  them  ,  or  a  personal  hit  to  their  ego---  they  started  using  phrases  to  put  her  in  a  box  .  high  maintenance  ,  uncontrollable  ,  she  wouldn’t  be  the  girl  they’d  take  home  to  their  father’s  in  the  hamptons  because  her  views  and  outspokenness  could  be  a  challenge---  despite  her  kindness  .  she  wasn’t  a  pretty  porecelain  doll  ,  and  she  certainly  wouldn’t  stand  by  your  side  as  a  trophy  wife  ---  to  smile  and  nod  .

zully  loves  to  read  ,  mostly  fiction  romances  ----  when  she’s  not  being  forced  to  study  .  it’s  a  guilty  pleasure  .  you  can  catch  her  in  between  classes  in  the  courtyard  ,  either  at  a  table  or  on  the  edge  of  a  fountain  .  

she  writers  along  with  it  ,  journal  entries  ,  and  they’re  personal  .  she  keeps  a  leather  notebook  by  her  bed  ,  and  for  the  most  part  just  writes  about  her  day  before  she  sleeps  .  

she  sews  a  lot  ,  mostly  because  growing  up  --  she  could  never  find  jeans  that  fit  right  .  they  were  always  too  long  ,  too  big  ,  so  she  had  to  learn  how  to  inseam  before  she  even  made  it  to  high  school  .  

braiding  hair  ,  where  she  got  good  at  it  mostly  because  of  her  sister--  who  often  liked  to  wear  her  hair  in  protective  styles  rather  than  their  natural  curls  .  it  helped  either  way  ,  giving  the  twins  the  ability  to  be  told  apart  .

ex  best  friend  :  likely  they  pushed  for  zully  to  join  a  sorority  ,  but  they  ended  up  in  different  ones  ,  and  drifted  because  of  it  .  they  don’t  really  get  along  anymore  ,  and  the  differences  in  sororities  probably  has  caused  the  rift  .  they  both  miss  each  other  ,  but  will  never  admit  it   .  (  maybe  the  person  who  gave  her  the  nickname  )

best  friend  that  never  got  the  chance  :  male  or  female  ,  they  ran  into  each  other  freshman  year  .  literally  .  they  both  ended  up  in  the  nurse’s  room  with  a  concussion  ,  and  they’ve  been  inseparable  ever  since  .  there  could  have  been  the  chance  where  they  were  almost  something  more  ,  but  it  fizzles  .  there  could  also  still  be  unresolved  feelings  on  one  end  ,  but  unspoken  .

BIO: 

born and raised in a small town in connecticut, caleb walsh grew up in a middle-class family of five (his parents, a younger sister, and an older brother). he had a pretty normal childhood but being the middle child meant his parents paid him the least amount of attention.

college is a chance for caleb to better himself, somewhere he could make new friends and essentially build a new life. he’s majoring in sociology, hoping to pursue a career that is dedicated to helping others (he’s not exactly sure what yet, that’s something he’s still trying to figure out).

his father graduated from beaumont, making him a legacy here. freshman year, he decides to rush and that’s how he ended up in phi kappa delta.

academic-wise, he kind of let go in high school but he wants to try harder now that he’s in college. you’ll catch him cramming for exams, most of the time with the help of some adderall. he’s a smart kid, just makes a lot of bad decisions. 

he usually takes on more than he can handle, not wanting any missed opportunities. he has a tight schedule filled with school, work, and social activities. he’s become someone who works hard and plays hard. 

PERSONALITY/TRAITS: 

(+) sociable, extroverted, endearing, understanding, great listener

he’s a sociable kid, and the fact that he’s extroverted and endearing means he always knows the right things to say. he’s acutely sensitive to what is proper and appropriate when it comes to dealing with others. ever since coming to college, he’s tried really hard to be more understanding, and his field of study in sociology has helped a lot with that. he’s a great listener and someone who’s easy to talk to (although he’s not always the most trust-worthy person, especially when he’s so secretive about the person he was in high school).

because he is constantly trying to please everyone, he does come off as a bit fake. he can’t really be trusted because he’ll say one thing to one person and something else to another person; he changes the narrative based on what he thinks the other person wants to hear, making him a little manipulative. due to the fact that he constantly has his plate full, he can be indecisive and unreliable. he’s vulnerable to giving too much of himself to people that it makes him prone to letting others dictate his thinking and decisions.

𝒖𝒑𝒃𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒈  ›  bridie  is  the  daughter  of  german  supermodel  mila  dohman  &  her  american  lover,  james  fitzpatrick.  the  fling  only  lasted  long  enough  to  see  bridie  to  her  first  birthday,  along  with  a  relocation  to  the  states.  her  relationship  with  her  family  has  always  been  strained.  with  her  parents  it  was  distant  -  after  leaving  her  mother,  it  wasn’t  long  before  james  had  a  new  family  to  cater  to,  not  that  he  had  taken  much  effort  to  be  involved  in  bridie’s  life  prior,  &  her  mother  had  always  been  too  wrapped  up  in  her  own  life  to  truly  connect  with  her  daughter  (or  her  other  children  to  come).  sibling-wise,  bridie’s  family  tree  is  slightly  confusing.  she  has  three  step-siblings,  one  ex step-sibling  &  three  half-siblings.  growing  up,  it  was  mostly  just  her  and  her  two  sisters;  her  older  sister  anya  and  her  younger  sister  sofia.  in  fact,  anya  practically  raised  the  family,  emotionally  at  least,  despite  only  being  four  years  older  than  bridie.  currently,  their  relationship  is  practically  non-existent.

𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒐𝒏𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒚   ›  for  lack  of  better  wording,  bridie  is  a  bit  of  an  odd-ball.  like,  a  strong  muse  inspiration  for  her  is  effie  stonem.  as  a  child  she  was  much  more  demure,  but  during  her  teens  she  blossomed  into  the  unfiltered,  impulsive  emo  mess  you  see  today  <3  bridie  is  the  epitome  of  ‘live  fast  die  young’.  she  has  0  filter  &  is  wholeheartedly  driven  on  impulse  /  emotion.  it’s  not  so  much  that  she’s  careless  (though  she  certainly  can  be),  but  that  she  simply  wants  to  live  her  life  to  the  full.  she  definitely  harbours  some  toxic  coping  mechanisms;  drinking,  smoking,  sex  -  not  that  she’ll  ever  admit  that  there’s  a  problem.  as  a  result,  she’s  earned  herself  a  somewhat  negative  reputation  that  she’ll  pretend  she  doesn’t  care  about.  most  people  tend  to  underestimate  her  due  to  how  they  expect  her  to  be,  but  she’s  a  lot  smarter  than  they  give  her  credit  for.  her  heart  is  also  a  lot  warmer  than  her  icy  exterior  would  suggest  -  she’s  a  total  softie  for  animals,  deep-down  still  believes  in  the  concept  of  soulmates,  &  is  100%  the  type  of  friend  to  hold  you  while  you  cry  then  go  handle  the  mf  who  made  you.

eiley is originally from weston, ma -- one of the richest towns in massachusetts that’s only twenty-ish minutes east of beaumont university.

her parents are both graduates of beaumont university, both with doctorates in the medical field. that being said, with the combination of their salaries, they’ve got quite the wealth -- and that’s just outside the inherited wealth from each of her parents’ families. that being said, eiley lived quite comfortably.

growing up, eiley cheered competitively and did so throughout most of high school when a rotator cuff injury put her out for her senior season. she did the little cheers on the sidelines of games, but was benched for the competitive season. after her surgery, she just decided to not go back nor pursue collegiate cheer, but to delve into her studies.

she was inspired by both of her parents’ careers that she made it her dream too and pursued that full-speed ahead, even attending the same university that they did after taking a gap year. during her gap year, she gained a lot of popularity on instagram from all of her traveling, thus now gaining the title “instagram model”, but she really doesn’t identify too closely with that. it’s just something she does for fun (with some monetary gain). school & becoming a doctor are ranked higher on her list of priorities than instagram is.

when she got to beaumont, she rushed sigma epsilon chi to be apart of the sisterhood her mother was too apart of. the lifestyle and atmosphere just seemed to feel like home. being a legacy, it was really easy for eiley to be a part of it.

eiley’s first year at beaumont was life-changing. when she started that fall, she had no idea how drastic her life would be as by that thanksgiving break, she would discover she was about 9 weeks pregnant. admittedly, eiley was quite open with her own sexuality and didn't shy away from landing in strangers. if you ask anyone, eiley doesn’t know who the father is and that was a lot for her family to take in. being their only daughter, they had high expectations and pregnancy out of wedlock was not one of them. by the time the baby came that june, they were accepting. she was mostly glad that her sorority sisters helped her through everything and were supportive. that only made her bond with her sisters closer. 

now that her daughter, catalina, is over a year old, they’ve come up with a routine that’s helped everyone out. although eiley would rather be with her baby all the time, she’s pushing through to her doctorate with the help of her family and full-time nanny. about 5 days of the week she sees her baby, whether it be for an hour or for a weekend.

she’s such a kind and gentle soul that would genuinely never hurt anyone intentionally. however, once her mind is made up, that’s what she’ll stick to and she’ll try to let you down in the nicest way possible.

storm was born in the high risers of new york city to two more of less absent parents.  raised by a series of nannies, it was easy for the little 5 year old to get lost in the world.  he would act out to get any attention he could until his parents enrolled him in a variety amount of sports.  

as he turned eleven, he seemed to change when he found soccer, suddenly his whole demeanor shifted into something more positive.  it was a way to get the attention he craved so badly.

his junior year was also the first thought that storm maybe did want to pursue soccer in college, his first look was beaumont due to the close location to his private school. after talking with the coach there, plus a couple other options -- storm’s decision landed on beaumont.

it didn’t take long for storm to take interest in the fraternities on campus, already being there early due to practice schedule.  on top of that, storm was the most interest in sigma tau due to the reputation that proceeded them -- the rich kids, just the place where storm belonged. 

personality.

storm is probably the definition of chaotic neutral teetering the line of chaotic good. everything he does is in his best interest, but there is still a large part of him that feels guilty when he burns someone else.

SO. lucas was born in portland, maine, to a pretty lower middle class family. his father left when he was two years old, and he was largely raised by his mother, florence weber. 

florence was a hardworking and loving mother, but she was also quite depressed her entire life. she was a recovered alcoholic when she met judas, lucas’s father, but once he left, she slowly slid back into her old habits. 

by the time lucas was eight, he was having to start to pick up some household responsibilities. cooking, cleaning, packing his own lunch. waking his mom up in time for her shifts at target. 

by the time he was in middle school, he’d learned how to forge her signature on cheques, he’d applied for unemployment for her after she got fired, and he was taking any odd job to make money. 

school was his favorite distraction; he was always a brilliant kid, and if it weren’t for the fact he was already a terribly shy and awkward kid, he could have skipped a couple grades. he threw himself into schoolwork to avoid everything; his mother’s worsening condition, his crippling loneliness, his fear that he might be as gay as every one of his bullies insisted.

BACKSTORY:

Born in Oahu, Hawaii as the second child of a marine biologist named Jiro and a spa owner named Cynthia. Siblings are his brother Callum (23) and sister Jocelyn (20).

From a young age, his father instilled an interest for marine life in he and his siblings by taking them to tide pools and teaching them about the creatures that resided there. As the children aged, the boys found themselves venturing deeper into the water, taking up surfing lessons.

What started as a fun hobby that the brothers could bond over turned into a full blown sibling rivalry, one that Joel never seemed to have the upper hand on.

By all accounts, Joel was a talented surfer but never talented enough to place in any competitions. He’d laugh it off or offer a convincing “I’ll beat your ass next time” to his brother but years of taunting and poking and prodding at his inadequacy wore on him. Eventually he just stopped trying to be good at anything?

Easily distracted and disinterested in anything he wasn’t close to obsessed with, school never came easy to him. So, he just kinda stopped trying as much over the years, barely skating by with Cs. He and his friends would skip class, smoke weed, spray paint dicks on the cars of people they didn’t like, and just continually dare each other to do stupid shit.

Somewhere in the middle of all of this, Joel found something he was good at: entertaining. He had an impeccable ability to make his friends laugh by being a loose cannon who was down for absolutely anything. And admittedly, he liked the validation, so he just never said no no matter how ridiculous or illegal the suggestion was. He still carries this habit to this day. Peer pressure? A lifelong friend of Joel’s.

Life goes by fast when you’re not prepared for literally anything, and before Joel knew it, he’d graduated high school and had to make college plans. So, he applied to the out-of-state college one of his cousins was attending: Beaumont.

And he’s been a menace to the campus ever since. :)

When someone hears the name Martínez, they automatically think of words like prestigious, wealthy, and perfect. And who wouldn’t? With the father being a State’s Attorney and mother owning her own real estate business, you had to think like that. In the public eye the Martínez family was flawless. Diana was the always supporting wife who thrived in raising money for fundraisers and showing off her cooking skills and David was being a husband who brought home piles of money and was devoted to his family. Everyone wanted what they had. Luca Martínez was born into a world where perfection was of the utmost importance. The Martínez family are one of those prestigious families that has always been full of wealthy and high-class snobs, and Luca’s parents were no exception. He grew up learning how to be charming and handsome, and aware of his superiority over those of inferior to him. Luca’s childhood years consisted of him sitting restless at various fancy parties and dinners, while his father kept him from all the treats so that he would grow up to be fit and strong. Luca’s father was always cold and emotionally isolated from him; only after a perfect son to show off to the world.

He has brother, who is three years younger than him, named Nathaniel. His relationship with his brother, however, is a bit estranged just like with their father. As much as he loves his brother and wishes they could see eye-to-eye, sometimes they tend to butt heads often. Whether that might mean your typical sibling arguments or full-on blown out fights, they just cannot seem to see get along.

As a young, restless little child, Luca sought escape from his shallow, chilly life in the form of a friend. His friend taught him that there was such thing as warmth and friendliness, told him lots of stories of Greek mythology, and he learned that his father had been lying about “tactless individuals” being horrible people. However, when his father found out about his associations with his friend, within a week, the boy mysteriously disappeared. Since then, Luca kept all his unapproved-of friends to himself. Unfortunately, as time went on, Luca grew up to become a lot colder and more isolated like his father—leaving the feeling of pure joy of meeting that friend he met long ago, had vanished. With his family situation being completely dysfunctional and rottenly horrible, he never experienced what being happy was all about.

Sometimes calling someone selfish is a gross exaggeration, but in Luca’s case its right on-point. Eventually in his early teens he became distracted, always preoccupied with his own affairs and matters of interest. Whether it was schoolwork, his multiple and usually explosive relationships, or his many existential crises, Luca was one for waving people away and turning the conversation back on himself. This was not necessary out of narcissism or some hidden agenda: Luca genuinely does not know who he is. Perpetually fidgeting and restless, it is not uncommon to see him rapidly flicking a cigarette lighter, or playing with his hair, or bouncing on the balls of his feet. In high school he was brilliant: it was that simple. He was the golden boy. Prone to spilling into intellectual spiels - and labelled a know-it-all - he internalized everything, memorizing tiny details, eyes skipping here and there. His intelligence is among his most useful traits and is by far the thing he values most about himself. Much of his ego is built around the confidence that he is effortlessly smarter than almost anybody he encounters. Knowledge is power, and he weaponizes his superior intellect, using his brains more than brawn to protect himself and intimidate the people he does not care for.

Although his parents were the bane of his experience 100% of the time, his mother was not all that insufferable when she had her moments away from his father and not trying to be this pristine ‘perfect’ woman beside her husband. In fact, throughout his childhood she often encouraged Luca’s belief in extraordinary things and hoped he had carried it throughout his life growing up. His mother had always made him promise to have courage and be kind to others, for—as she explained to him—kindness has power, and that she would see him through all the trials that life could offer, in life and death.

Cancer/mental illness TW—when he was thirteen, his mother had been diagnosed with cervical cancer. Upon hearing the news, Luca’s whole world clasped. Not only was he at a pivotal stage in his life where everything was changing and becoming more stressful ( becoming a teenager, starting high school, going through puberty ), the only important person who had actually showed him any kind of love in his life had be claimed by the deadly disease altogether. So many thoughts and feelings were going through his mind at the time, that he ran himself physically sick and had experienced his first panic attack. He has since been medically diagnosed with panic disorder. Thankfully, the cells on his mother’s cervix were diagnosed at precancerous stage and the doctors were able to treat it because it developed and spread. However, that didn’t and doesn’t stop Luca from being in a constantly state of panic every time his mother so much as feels pain or coughs due to irrelevant reasons. The entire year had changed him and his family for a while.

He is now attending Beaumont University currently in his Junior year studying Human Physiology and minoring in Illustration. The university is his parents’ alma mater and he joined his father’s former fraternity after he was convinced it would be a ‘father-son bonding experience’ to have shared the same Greek house. Not to mention, his family has pretty decent ties at Beaumont, making Luca pretty well known become his parents. Sure, his family is wealthy, well known in the socialite community, and has basically grown up with this sort of life from an exceedingly small age, but to say he actually cares about all that crap is an overstatement. He is nothing like some of the spoiled and entitled students at his school and rather vibe with himself than gossip about the latest trend.

Despite issues with his own family, Luca has a lot of personal of his own he deals with. He is capable of enduing tremendous hardship. Though he may not handle difficulty in the healthiest or best way, often repressing emotion, he mostly like emerges on the other side. He does not know how to express his emotions in a put together way, but rather fumbles it all up and starts to ramble. Rarely opens up because of this. He usually distracts himself from his insufferable emotions with hobbies such as playing the piano, painting, and reading some of his favorite classics. After he moved out the house at eighteen to pursue college and became more independent, he started to come into his own style with his wardrobe. To put it simple, he is like a hippie dippy child of the universe.

No joke. No seriously, his place at home and his dorm is full of sensual shit and art. It is getting out of hand and somebody needs stop him soon. Catch him rocking the Greek philosopher and Dead Poets Society aesthetic around campus. He strongly believes that art is an umbrella term that relates to expressing of oneself—not just through photography and painting—and that everyone has the freedom to express themselves however they please. Because of his beliefs, he chooses to break gender roles like bread and wears whatever the fuck he wants because yolo. His appearance pretty much represents his hippie dippy lifestyle with him wearing all sorts of hipster shit. His clothes can be very flowy like, but don’t let that fool you. He doesn’t miss the opportunity to represent his upper class within his style, so he does dress to impress, let me tell you. His hair color changes sometimes too depending on his mood but it’s generally never too eccentric.

born  and  raised  in  malibu ,  angus  grew  up  with  strict ,  ambitious  parents . his  father  a  neurosurgeon ,  and  mother  an  architect .  it  was  very  early  on  that  they  instilled  their  high  expectations  for  the  boy ,  teaching  him  the  importance  of  discipline  and  responsibility .  their  intentions  were  good  of  course ,  as  every  parent  wants  to  raise  their  child  right ,  though  angus  wasn’t  truly  equipped .  in  actuality  the  couple  came  off  as  overbearing  and  their  high  expectations  deemed  unreachable  in  the  male’s  eyes .  as  he  grew  older ,  the  feeling  grew  stronger  that  he  would  never  quite  live  up  to  their  standards –  97%  on  his  mathematics  test ??  well ,  why  wasn’t  it  100% ??

family  time  was  scarce  in  the  donnelley  household .  with  both  parents  working  full  time  and  lots  of  time  spent  working  extra  hours ,  angus  became  independent  quickly .  his  mother  was  flying  to  dubai  for  work  quite  frequently ,  gone  weeks  at  a  time .  some  weeks  if  felt  like  his  father  LIVED  in  the  hospital .  but  he  was  saving  lives ,  and  how  could  angus  be  so  SELFISH  to  want  him  at  home .  it  meant  he  grew  extremely  close  to  his  two  younger  sisters ,  often  opting  to  spending  the  weekends  entertaining  them  rather  then  out  at  parties .  the  family  had  a  nanny  to  help ,  so  he  didn’t  HAVE  to ,  but  his  sisters  always  came  first  to  him  and  being  the  eldest  he  has  a  serious  case  of  protective  older  brother  syndrome .

after  graduating  high  school ,  he  somehow  managed  to  convince  his  parents  to  allow  him  to  head  abroad  for  the  year .  with  promises  of  coming  back  home  and  hunkering  down  into  his  pre med  degree .  the  couple  really  wanted  angus  to  head  straight  into  uni ,  but  with  tons  of  begging ,  they  sent  him  off ,  bank  account  full .  the  year  was  spent  travelling  and  honestly ,  just  having  FUN –  a  few  months  over  in  paris ,  london ,  italy ,  greece …  some  places  he’d  been  before  with  his  family ,  but  not  in  the  way  he  got  to  experience  them  now .  angus  continued  his  travels  to  japan ,  korea ,  new  zealand ,  australia …  never  staying  in  one  place  for  too  long .  but  the  fun  had  to  come  to  an  end .

as  promised ,  angus  attended  beaumont  upon  returning  back  to  the  states  studying neurosciences ,  getting  his  pre med  classes  under  his  belt .  he  is  a  legacy  kid --  his  father  having  been  apart  of  delta  psi  beta  when  he  attended  the  university .  becoming  a  doctor  has  never  quite  been  his  dream ,  so  much  as  it  was  his  parents .  while  the  male  continues  his  undergraduate  degree ,  he  wonders  if  he  should  change  his  path ,  though  that’s  not  a  conversation  he  can  have  with  his  parents .  angus  has  always  wanted  to  leave  an  impact on  others ,  in  what  way ,  well he’s  never  been  sure .

❛  ✶  (    kelsey  merritt,  cis  female,  she/her    )    —    did  you  see  elle  vera  walking  around  campus  earlier?  i  hear  a  lot  of  people  talking  about  the  twenty  one  year  old  junior.  from  what  i  know,  they  are  studying  english  and  are  a  part  of  sigma  epsilon  chi.  they  come  across  as  +gracious  but  also  -inflexible,  which  makes  sense  because  on  their  instagram    (    @cinderelle​    )    it  says  they  are  a  taurus . when i see  them,  i  think  of  missing  someone  you  haven’t  met  yet,  an  empty  stomach  filling  up  with  butterflies,  staying  up  all  night  and  telling  secrets  you  swear  you’ll  keep.

breakdown.

elle has a good home life, it’s not the best but whose is?? her father is a successful businessman and her mother is a small time fashion designer. she has an older brother and a younger sister that she doesn’t have the best relationship with but she tries.

the family has money, but they’re from new money and her dad is constantly working and her mom still has this dream that she’s going to be the next coco chanel so she’s always away working on that dream.

her dad is very strict with her brother because he’s the first born and they have expectations for him to take over the business and they never put that kind of pressure on elle. her brother resented her for being cherished and loved unconditionally by their father and as much as elle tried growing up to bond with him, he wasn’t having any of it.

after the they had elle, her mother was ready to get back into the fashion industry but less than a year after having elle she was unexpectedly pregnant again and her dream was once again put on hold.

elle’s sister was a tougher baby to care for and that on top of having to stay home, her mother blamed her sister. this put a strain of elle’s relationship with her sister too because her sister was jealous of how great their mother treated elle. her brother and sister connected over the bad relationships with their parents and evidently isolated elle.

elle doesn’t blame her siblings or her parents for the lack of relationships with her brother and sister, she doesn’t really understand why things are the way they are, and she’s still trying to forge a bond to this day.

the next 4 bullet points are taken from her biography because i don’t know how else to word it.. again i am sorry... :p regardless of not having the best relationship with her brother and sister, it was easy for elle to make friends. she’s beautiful, elegant, and her family has money— anyone would be stupid to turn a friendship with someone like her down. 

elle’s father also talked her up with colleagues. before she could speak for herself, she already had this pristine reputation. you’d think she would hate living up to that and yet it was the opposite, she loved being known as her father’s sweet daughter because that’s exactly who she is. 

elle is lucky enough to be the person she wants to be; kind, compassionate, and never taken advantage of, thanks to the reputation her father provided her. everyone views her as perfect and she lives up to the title. 

at home, she’s admired and all the other girls are constantly comparing themselves to her. and thus, she has it easy. so easy that she’s grown comfortable living a certain way of life. end scene.

a lot of people come to elle for advice especially since she’s been with her boyfriend for 5 years and she loves being that person for those she cares about but shes also that person that gives out advice and never takes it

speaking of her bf... he’s a grad student and he’s known around campus but he doesn’t come around very much which i’m sure is suspicious to elle’s friends but he’s the guy that is like my studies are more important than going to a stupid party with u.. and elle understands because she’s elle

she’s not exactly a pushover but she does like to make people happy. but if it’s a serious matter she won’t be afraid to say something that the person doesn't want to hear. she never does with her bf though because she believes he’s right... and doesn’t want him to break up with her

because her bf doesn't come around much she usually attends events to take care of her friends or she just stays home. it’s hard to convince her to do things without him. gags

she’s an english major and because her parents adore her they don’t mind that she’s picked a career path that won’t eventually lead to big money and honestly they’re not worried about her being able to provide for herself since she has her bf whose family is rolling in money and they assume they’ll end up together and she’ll be taken care of.

elle picked english because she loves it. she loves reading and escaping her own problems through the stories in the thousands of books she owns. we love healthy coping mechanisms.

❛ ✶ ( LOVIE SIMONE , CISFEMALE , SHE/HER/HERS )  —  did you see KAITLIN WHITE walking around campus earlier ? i hear a lot of people talking about the NINETEEN year old JUNIOR . from what i know , they are studying ENTERTAINMENT MANAGEMENT and are a part of SIGMA EPSILON CHI. they come across as + BEGUILING but also - ANTAGONISTIC , which makes sense because on their instagram ( @KINGKITTY ) it says they are a SCORPIO . when i see them , i think of RUNNING LATE TO THE BLACK-TIE DINNER , A PERFORMER WITHOUT A STAGE , A CUFF OF PRISTINE PEARLS CURLED AROUND A DARK THROAT LIKE A FIST , ALWAYS TOO MUCH AND STILL NOT ENOUGH , THE SMELL OF VANILLA BEAN CANDLES THAT HAVE JUST CAUGHT THE DRAPES ON FIRE . the most interesting thing i’ve heard about them though , is the fact that REDACTED , but don’t tell anyone i told you that .

on her very best days, kitty is all charm and glitter, able to make anyone and everyone feel like the center of her universe under the thousand-volt wattage of her smile. she loves crowds and being surrounded by people, and her charisma works to draw people into her orbit, if only for an evening

she only drinks sparkling water; yes it is pretentious, and no she does not care.

as far as kitty is concerned, if something can go wrong, it’s usually about to. she’s led a pretty charmed life so far, but that can only be coincidence, right? the world’s default setting is awful and cold and cruel, so kitty’s attitude is only a defense against the inevitability that her world is going to come crashing down any moment now.

she held her own small personal memorial when the jonas brothers broke up, built out of her shrine to joe jonas (posters, t-shirts, ticket stubs, a dvd of camp rock).

she’s seen the happiness begins documentary twelve times since its premiere; video footage of her crying during it is some of alexis’ best blackmail material.

kitty has always been a hard worker, even if she can only manage to care about things in short bursts; whether it was cheerleading, student council or planning alexis’ birthday parties, she can always be counted upon to put her all into it ( at least until something else catches her eye )

she really is smarter than people give her credit for, especially herself; due to the whites’ focus on measurable intelligence, kitty doesn’t view her ability to intrinsically understand people as a form of intelligence, but. y’know. it is.

despite spending most summers of her life in the hamptons, kitty cannot swim. she’s able to get past it by wearing life jackets whenever she gets on a yacht and staying clear of the railings, but she’s got a fear of being underwater that she doesn’t plan to face any time soon

they’ve yet to discover the person kitty white can’t twist to her will, whether willingly falling under the spell of her clean white smile or being convinced in a conversation that doing her bidding is really best for everyone; it’s the one thing ( besides wealth ) that all the whites share
