Where in the world was Ludinus Da'leth?
With the reveal that Ludinus was indeed telling the truth about being a Calamity survivor, as well as that he "suffered a lot of trauma at the tail end of the Calamity", implying he was relatively young (and indicating he's probably not Avaliran nor Aeorian since those were destroyed at least 50 years prior to the end of the Calamity and likely more, ie, his trauma would date back to much earlier within the Calamity):

Okay longer post with all the thoughts:
New set looks cool but I don’t have strong opinions. Similarly no significant feelings about the art reel - I usually tuned in right before the show started and stopped right after it ended when finishing up in the morning, so it’s not like I ever watched it much (except for the Chicago live show, all hail the box), but like...they've published several art books, have a gallery, and did a live art show; it's not like the artists in the fandom lack opportunities to show their work.
As mentioned I think taking one week off per month and pre-taping are very smart. There’s a certain charm to people video-chatting in but also it’s not as fun (and often harder for that cast member to follow/participate) and pre-taping allows for like...anniversaries and birthdays falling on Thursday nights. However, the post G&S Critical Role has had far more weeks off, which is great for preventing burnout, but it did mean that there were also far fewer one-shots (even pre-Covid). I think taking a week off per month plus pre-taping will provide that balance of reasonable scheduling and one-shots or EXU seasons. And, repeating what I said earlier: NADDPod made this same switch (taking one week off of the main campaign per month for something that doesn’t require the DM to do so much work) and truly, D&D Court is one of my favorite things.
I’ll admit that as someone who loves Vasselheim and cold weather I was gunning for Issylra, but I think Marquet can be interesting, particularly if we explore outside of Ank'Harel and the Bay of Gifts. Also I loved the seafaring parts of both C1 and C2 and given that Marquet also has a robust sailing culture, I’d love to see some of that (this is me subliminally sending vibes to go to Blightshore or the Shattered Teeth or other weird cursed places) (I could have done like. Ten more episodes of dungeon crawling in Aeor. I just love weird cursed places so much). I’m also guessing some of the C1 Ank’Harel stuff will be if not retconned at least fleshed out considerably, the same way Wildemount was from its few appearances/mentions in C1.
