this second draft is going so slowly but 1) I have a full month, at least, before the ‘deadline’ and even then I could in theory still do work on subsequent chapters as I post them, and 2) we have reached ‘oh right, this is why I hate summer’ weather and I cannot think clearly so I think in depth second drafting is going to have to wait until it drops back into the 70s next week
#i am melting#i know compared to a lot of places i'm still WAY on the cool side#but approaching 85 with a lot of humidity is not good for brain processing for me#we have also reached the very fun 'breakout under my glasses' time of year so I think I'm going to take a cold shower#and then find something to do that doesn't require me to wear them because my nose hurts#i got through the double dream sequence section at least#and i'm approaching 15k#dark ocean duology
