Helen Lovejoy is a recurring character from day one and a huge bitch who loves to be condescending and feel superior to people throwing gratuitous shades and mockeries and spreading mean gossips all while hiding behind religion (she is the local pastor's wife ; and he is often shown as bored-looking and having lost faith, and playing with his toy train setup on his free time, they do love each other but they don't have the best marriage for how nagging she is and how much he just wants peace) and a "good cause" using all of those as an excuse to be preachy and police how people should behave and what they should do and shouldn't do (often ruining fun things that are not conservative because as her catchphrase says "WON'T SOMEBODY THINK OF THE CHILDREN?" being thus a satire of these people who pretend they want what's good for children to impose censorship to the point of calling someone a Helen Lovejoy here nowadays when they're easily "triggered" by harmless media stuff and fictional content because it could "harm"). She and Marge hate each other, she and her sometimes hanginf out as "friends" but Helen loving to mock, shame and humiliate Marge when she is too different and Marge always wanting to prove herself worthy, but usually licking confidence. Here in that episode however she finally gains confidence thanks to her new friends, so when here Helen made fun of her right before because she found out she had been starting selling tupperwares ("troubles at home hm?" ; hence her smug look in the first 2 pics) Marge finally roasts her and we had all been waiting for years for her to. How many people have even heard of Blazing Dragons?

Terry Jones (Yes, that Terry Jones, the Monty Python one) created this utterly absurd series about a time in the Court of Camelhot, where the Dragons of the Square Table, led by the noble King Allfire and Queen Griddle as they face assorted nonsense.

Note the line in the song which goes: "We're straight, and true, and good and kind" with a different dragon for each word is as subversive as it gets as

"Straight" is Sir Blaze, "The Smartly Dressed and Fashionably Late", whose shall we say, more openly gay leanings were trimmed from the US broadcast version. The wink as be proclaims he's straight says it all really

"True" is Sir Burnevere, "The Overly Educated", who may speak the truth, but uses words that no one else udnerstands.

"Good" is Sir Hotbreath who is not bad, per se, but has a tendency to torch everything in sight uncontrollable.

"Kind" is Sir Loungelot, the lazy, arrogant Head Knight, who takes credit for everything that goes well (When the hard work is done by his smart and actually brave quire, Flicker)

I also love that the whole line is

"We're staight and true and good and kind

And we're very good at knitting.

THAT DOESN'T RHYME! THAT'S OKAY

WE'RE GOING TO SING IT ANYWAY!"
