#ooc#pushing past your own limits might seem like the way to success at first#but what it means in the grand scheme of things is that you're setting a standard you won't be able to meet in the long run#which simultaneously means you'll get tired and become unable to keep it up#and also that people are gonna expect 120% all the time and your 100% won't be enough#calem tries to be perfect across all categories#a perfect trainer a perfect assistant for the professor a perfect mentor for his friends#team flare happens and he tries to take care of that perfectly as well#so by the time he's going up against viola and grant he's amazing unstoppable a force of nature#but by the time he's fighting olympia and wulfric he's losing steam and just wants to go home#kind of a reverse touya
