I had a thought about broken loyalties.

Like, what if, reader got pregnant. Many are cheering, celebrating the new heir to come. Ayato is more suffocating than ever, for he can’t let anything happen to his wife and offspring. But I also see Thoma being with reader more than ever, to help her manage with her pregnancy. But…then comes the day.

The baby is delivered. Reader’s hand is white as a bone from the death grip she has on Ayato’s hand (even if it‘s from her greatest tormento, she’ll take whatever comfort she can get, because maybe she caused Ayato some pain, even the slightest), and then after the doctors are done with whatever, baby comes into reader’s arms. They have their own hair color, so when the baby opens its eyes, it should be Ayato’s own purple eyes.

The baby opens its emerald green eyes and wails.

(Ayato sees red. He has Thoma held in the air by his throat, though after properly seeing his wife and her baby to a good night.)

though I’d feel so sad for the little baby. No matter how hard Ayato tries his best to love them, one look into their bright green eyes and his smile just wavers 💔 Ayato probably takes his anger out on Thoma, who just smiles smugly at Ayato despite everything bc finally, he has won over his lord.

but anyways, they probably don’t know ab the Punnett square either
