on one hand, i think its nice that today japanese comics are normalized enough to be bought in places like walmart, and manwha and manhua are also getting attention, but also i hate that this has happened when im an adult and not interested at all in the most popular manga in stores. i wanna walk into target and buy like dorohedoro or something, not de/mon sla/yer

#personal #also online shopping sites making it so easy to get deliveries #good for kids today i guess #but every time i go on depop/fb marketplace/ebay/mercari im like ENOUGH MY HERO ACADEMIA!!!!#and then on reddit i have a slightly higher chance of finding skip&loafer/witch hat atelier/dunmeshi/frieren/etc. but like #they all seem obsessed w vagabond or berserk tbh 🤔#why are we not getting rid of the series im currently into huh 🙄#also pls dont suggest alternatives in case anyone's gonna do that
