No honestly the more you think about Genshin's 4.2 update the sillier and more unintentionally funny it gets.
4.2 spoilers:
Are you telling me that Arlecchino clocked, within one minute of meeting her, that Furina did not have a gnosis, was probably not an archon, and was a (physically) weak, cursed girl.
Meanwhile, the hydro dragon sovereign who worked with her for 500 years couldn't figure out that Furina had not an ounce of hydro power in her body?
Furina really said "I am the archon."
And Neuvillette said:

Kazuha centered au thought up by me and Eme (@averagemental-crisis) <3
TW: Death/murder mentions, mentions of revolutions, spoilers for Kazuha
We had this idea that Kazuha would be targeted by Celestia if Tomo leaving some of his soul in the vision wasn't the reason for Kazuha being able to wield his (Tomo's) electro vision at the same time as his Anemo one which has never happened before to our knowledge and apparently is impossible hence why delusions are a thing even amongst vision users since gaining a vision is based off of a lifelong ambition of some form and categorised for each element.
Celestia ordered the destruction of Khanriah because of the will of man and their ambition without the gods or something or other and Kazuha, in welding two visions, would essentially be the embodiment of that will because his ambition has gone so far as to align with the archons twice but also in a case where he was going against an archon which was essentially what happened with Khanriah when people began to move away from the gods.
He's probably the closest thing to a person ascending to Celestia in centuries considering that, as far as we know, the previous archon is usually 'dead' before another person ascends to Celestia, since we know that all vision users can become archons themselves.
But in battling an archon when he managed to wield two visions at once he probably rejected an ascension because he is battling a being of Celestia and thereby rejected Celestia itself which is probably the most human and willful thing a person can do since he's essentially choosing his ambition and mortality over godhood.
If he's had that potential the whole time, and Celestia control the archons in a way, then it's no wonder that Tomo was killed both because of his challenging of the Shogun but also because he would be in the way of Celestia trying to get to Kazuha through Ei.
SO he's probably some form of pinnacle point of research since he was - in theory - able to wield more power than an archon in that moment where he activated Tomo's vision and could either be a threat or the most powerful ally Celestia could have which means that they were constantly fighting between keeping him alive for them to condition and getting rid of him (after his friend gets killed by the Shogun).
So anyways, everyone would be after him at all times and he doesn't know why but he understand enough to know that if he stays in one place too long then he could put other people in danger hence becoming a wanderer but also in an attempt to figure it all out (he still hasn't).
But also would explain why the Fatui would be after him as well as the Gnoses since he would be a massive point of leverage against Celestia (hinting at Scara knowing possibly Kazuha when he was still a traveller here and being able to 'detect' as an inhuman puppet technically made of raw celestial power and the reason that the Taritsa would know about Kazuha at all) who are already vulnerable and losing power since three (four? I haven't done Sumeru yet) of their archons have already willingly (kind of) (not that Celestia know) severed ties with them by giving up their gonses.
Idk if this makes sense but I hope it does because it is rotting my brain <3
