#abt to plant saffron crocus in zone 5b....have read conflicting things abt if that will be ok tho 😬#not the end of the world i can mulch but i would prefer not to have to do anything#i want to do a big patch and im reading that i need to put a foot of mulch on and that sounds like a pain#but we're at the edge of the zone near zone 6 and the snow cover is reliable so hopefully it should be ok 🙏#but honestly idk this is my first winter here and we're on a hill so maybe that will ruin it idk#anyway could potentially be fun to harvest but i mostly wanted a fall crocus and the other kind is toxic and my dog eats grass#so i thought the food kind would be perfect#also im thinking of maybe getting sheep someday#but it would be really cool to have anything that blooms in november which this should!!#anyway i love getting packages <3#and i was a bit worried it would get lost bc our house is hard to find
