From what I understand, they're mad at her because they see her as a threat. They genuinely believe they have some sort of a shot with Joe Quinn.

Two major themes in this fandom:

Misogyny

Joseph ships hellcheer, if I'm not wrong, and all they hear is "Grace forced our baby"! They are infantilizing a grown ass man- but also being really fucking gross and downright creepy.

Grace ships hellcheer, and she's "a p*do" an "attention seeker"... they've said worse 💀

They believe Chrissy got in the way of Steddie. Idfk what the hell possesses them to talk about his sp*rm and shit but... I feel sorry for Joe and Grace.
