Fang is very much a Chosen One vibe except not in any fuckin way that's nice for him. He's saddled with the burden of the choices this man (his father) made hundreds of years ago. He can't run from him forever, & if he isn't strong enough he Will die.

Not only that, but the burden of a betrayal he did not commit rests on his shoulders. If he can somehow find this feather & return it to the fey queen, then the curse may be lifted. But for someone who lives and breathes the void, whose very Blood is steeped in it... what would happen if the curse was removed? Where does the curse end and Fang begin? How much of him would be left after it all?

There's also a third path, maybe. Kill his dad, take his place, hoard the feather. The path of life and power, though undeniably not good. It's a destiny he could have, but not one he would ever consider. He just does not care about power for power's sake alone.

Though if someone managed to convince him it was the only way to protect him & his loved ones........ 🤔 hmmm
