#less than 3k people died like statistically i sincerely doubt that anyone knows someone who lost a loved one in 9/11#unless you actually live in the nyc area#as someone who lives in the nyc area! and HAS met several people who lost someone that day / have met people who lived through it / etc#frankly i dont fucking give a shit about anyones uwu pain becausd they like. idk. watched it on tv#like if youre from the opposife side of the country and all you ever did was watch it on tv live#then like sorry! get over it. it happened 21 years ago#watching it was surely traumatic in its own way nvm the fallout that we’re still dealinf with today#but in terms of the accute tragedy itself. get over it.#i say all this as someone who lives an hour from nyc.#i wasnt born yet but everyone in my area was way more personally impacted by it than any person in like. Oregon#unless youre like statistically one of. maybe three people from oregon who had a loved one in nyc at that time.#but even though it affected my area wwy more. it’d still be insane to claim like we ever experienced the pain as strong as actual NYC#residents. so literallg FUCK OFF trying to act like youre still living with it for real 21 years later#if youre not from nyc i literally do not want to hear it#brot posts
