i keep getting recommended teen wolf deep dives on youtube STOP. that is not your place i will only ever listen to my mutuals. you probably don’t even know about derek hale basketball coach who HAS to get the team to state

i am open to recommendations for jenny nicholson/mike’s mic style tv/book recaps though i just want them from you guys and NAWT the algorithm i don’t trust it so if you have any faves PLEASE. my post-surgery fatigue is still going strong and i don’t have the brain power to actually watch shows

#i literally started watching drag race last night because i couldn’t pay attention to six feet under which i’ve been trying to watch #sidenote the way the queens use the term ‘fish’ or ‘fishy’ is very offputting to me personally and idk if that’s just a gut reaction or what #but it feels very Like. stereotypical cis gay men who use their gayness to justify misogyny idk #im very unfamiliar with drag culture outside of the academic perspective so i am trying to be open minded about it though #maybe when my brain is working again i’ll do some proper research. but if anyone has any perspective on that i would be really interested!!!#in any case it’s good practice for me to recognise my instinctual response to it and then hold off on passing judgement until i have a #better understanding because lately i have been not very patient or open to other perspectives #and i think in the major cases i am justified in that. but i have noticed i’m doing it more with smaller things too
