with superhero costume design I have a problem with my first few goes being tooo practical with no personality. i blame Sony x-men tbh, I want fun suits again and I think that with SYS! I’ll be able to like. go bawls off the walls with it :)

#I’m not sleepy so I am just gonna lay here #Chevys helped me realized that I am afraid of brigh colours #*colours and I’m gonna try and not be :)#oh I also blame Batman #i love batman so much right and like the batfam #but god sometimes the comics and media are soooooo dark #and like I get the noir detective thing but like colours can be menacing and intimidating and sad too I promise #like. i love the use of red in The Batman #but maybe its because I was a spider-man first #and idek where he gets his colour scheme from #but yeah fuck Sonys X-men for what they did with uniforms I need colour damn you #also even tho I love it x1men evo #though i think they did a good job at streamline the uniforms so no #i don’t blame evo. it’s formed so many of my art habits tho #hmm #so how do I make the colours look good together..#one of the main colours that our heroes in the entire verse wear are white and gold #not everyone and no one only wears them #but it kinda is our signifier for connections and eventual teams #rob wears white blue and gold for multiple reasons that also go to leo #retro’s colour pallete is yet to be finalized #but hes either gonna have a pallete change after his mini #making him white purple and gold rather than white nearly black blue purple and gold #eris is black and white for obvious reasons #kwame likes feeling special so he’s mostly brown #the crows are red and black but that’s for a very special reason and very special contrast #trin is various shades of purple with some yellow not gold on purpose #bing’s coat has a little faded yellowish gold #sparrows have similar colour pallets besides 3 #Angie’s red white and gold. tho the gold is only accents. zaya’s lack of gold despite her aprilite tethers
