Seeing the sharp rise of islamaphobic rhetoric and hostility towards muslims in america is really something. hope this dosent have any direct effects onto me or my family. Uh.

#my silly little posts #i dont want to say much becasue i dont whatsoever want to make anything thats happening a pity party about me #but its just a little bit scary. im not a hijabi but my family members are and i fear for them more than anything #also trying to decipher if my last name is too ethnic sounding or if im good. who knows #but tbh im thinking more about them because im pretty white passing. name and face wise.#i get more hispanic than ‘middle eastern’ im not middle eastern but ppl think afghanistan is the middle east lol.
