Absolutely adored Across the Spiderverse. Characters are all perfect, only ONE secondhand embarrassment moment (mama Rio made a speech), kept recognizing characters and squeeing quietly to The Husband, and I was laughing SO MUCH.

If you appreciate spoilers, one under the cut that explains why all the sites are giving it 3/5 stars, along with the reason it made me laugh for 20 minutes instead:

Movie doesn't have an ending. Right before it's about to hit the climax, we get a 'To Be Continued' narration box. And then it ends. No closure whatsoever. ALL the plots are still unresolved, and they just opened another one.

IT WAS FIRST CLASS COMICS BULLSHIT! I couldn't stop laughing! It's everything I love and hate about comics all wrapped up together in this brazen refusal to be a proper movie. Comics are serial media, so this movie is too. Ugh. Awful. GREAT.

Anyways, I loved it. But if you want a proper, complete, story, you should probably wait until next year. Because this is deliberately half a movie.

Yes, it's done, not worth stressing over for and it seemed to be the thing attracting the most unwanted people also(lesson learned, never translate things into Spanish, or make things for Spanish speaking fandom's, it's the worst) so yeah not worth it at all, the story overall was also just silly and not worth the 50 pages left it had I think

and even if i got possessed I wouldn't be continuing it until idk the fandom is like, ultra ultra ultra mega dead and it's just me throwing things into the void where 2 people live, so never me thinks
