mmmm, thinking bout ratiorine/aventio/dr. ratio/aventurine soulmate stuff....
#caiffee spills#the idea that dr ratio doesn't really like the idea of soul mates and finding the perfect one#and aventurine in his younger years loving the concept so much he daydreams everyday#and then he gets older and he stops hoping on finding them#but then aventurine gets this little sliver of hope when he rusn into dr ratio for the first time and all of the sudden he's a kid again#daydreaming about his soulmate and who they might be#but all those empty faces of who they might have been have now been filled with dr ratio#but dr ratio doesnt believe/like the idea of soulmates and aventurine doesnt even know how to bring it up to him at all#so he just doesn't and he lingers on it for so long it hurts#does he ever confess or does he just let his feelings and the idea that ratio is his soulmate forever be stuck in his head#not knowing of the answers and not even knowing if he wants the truth or not or if he's good just daydreaming it#i dunno what kinda soulmate theme would work with them/this#but just aventio/ratiorine soulmates#aventio#ratiorine

Angsty musing of the night : Aventio/Ratiorine Soulmate AU where Ratio is oblivious to the real identity of his soulmate because the name written on his wrist isn't Aventurine, but Kakavasha. Aventurine, on the other hand, is perfectly aware that they're soulmates, but stays silent about it because he is so damn scared Ratio will suffer the same fate as his family if he starts getting attached to him.
(Then Ratio discovers the truth, either through deduction or by learning Aventurine's birth name, and finds just the right words to convince Aventurine that it's safe for them to be together, because I cannot stand unhappy endings, especially when it comes to those two)
