@mytoesfelloff asked for my headcanons on maizulee (platonic or romantic) and i’m finally posting it now. the original ask disappeared when i saved it as a draft so im resorting to this. rip to that ask.

mai and azula were exchanging letters before the show starts but i dont think ty lee was writing to either of them bc ms thing ran away.

speaking of that. ty lee did not tell azula or mai beforehand what she planned to do and just disappeared leaving azula and mai letters apologising.

ty lee tested her chi-blocking on azula one time. azula said it would make her a better soldier if she could fight through the chi blocking. ty lee thought it was funny to see azula writhing on the floor unable to fight. mai was on the sidelines watching azula be an idiot. the memory is forever baked into her head.

mai and ty lee have been victimized by azulas dragon fun facts every day for hours on end since they were children. mai is endeared by it weirdly enough despite always telling azula to shut up or booing at repeat facts but ty lee is banging her head against the wall in private and pretending to be curious to know more to azulas face.

during their academy days mai and azule ate w ty lee and her sisters during lunch. rip ty lees sisters who are trying to have social lives.

mai and azula get dragged to parties by ty lee. it always goes badly. theyre destroying the house just like in canon.
