if ppl are talking about race in audio fiction, can we please. just. address the fact that The Penumbra Podcast continues to sell merch portraying their leads as a dark-skinned Black person and an East Asian person, when they’re played by white or very white-passing people.

i genuinely feel like ppl avoid talking about this bc Penumbra has canonical LGBTQ+ rep, and because some of the showrunners are LGBTQ+, but like. come on. literally how is this not blackface/yellowface.
