ok another wc fandom post sorry. why were people claiming things like “nightcloud isolated and infected breezepelts mind and told him his dad sucked and thats also abusive” (and dont get me wrong parental alienation IS abuse) when we dont actually see that in the book and its only implied in a guide book that already gets things wrong? but like also crowfeather was literally neglecting and berating his son anyways. iirc theres even a scene where he gets physical with him and its excused bc “well breezepaw is annoying!” but ppl get upset when you point that out bc hes still sad over his breakup ig. nightcloud cant really do parental alienation when crowfeather is already ignoring his son and treating him like shit when he isnt

#also even if she was what is she saying? ‘’your dad sucks for ignoring you’’ which he is and he admits it?#and then ppl bring up the super edition which like came years after the fact and the erins retcon and stumble over everything already #so in po3 the intent is just. hes a shitty father but its ok bc his wife is crazy and not his ex that hes sad over :(#(note: craziness is her being worried for her son when he gets hurt during a game)#echoed voice #damn night youre so entitled for…… (checks notes)…. expecting your sons father to be nice to him #im not even saying she never did anything wrong like she was too harsh to leaf and her kids absolutely #but ppl are so desperate to prove she and breeze deserve crows awful treatment of them or it never happened at all that theyll just #use buzzwords where they arent really there
