#but thats because Bart and Ace keep getting put into bad books. i can't in good faith ask you to suffer through Barts TT run or Aces TT run
I want to get into the flash comics and dont know where to start, do you have any suggestions?
How much time do you have? Lmao
No but seriously my answer will entirely depend on if you want a starting point to jump onto the current run or if you want to read the best highlights of the Flash or if there's a specific character you want to read about or if you... want to read it all.
If you want to jump into the current run of Flash comics there are a couple 'on ramps' designed for new readers: The Flash #768 is the start of Adams run so that's a great place to start (just don't forget to read the 2021 Flash annual!) but you could also jump in at #787! #787 is a great place to start reading for new fans and you will be all ready to go for when #788 comes out this Tuesday.
If you want more of a reading list though I can't recommend Mark Waid's Flash run enough (The Flash #62-159). Also the entirety of the series Impulse and the og Young Justice. Then you would probably want to read Goeff Johns Flash run (#164-225). Then the All Flash #1 (2007) and the Wild West arc is a must read (#231-247).
Next up I'd have to say Flash: Rebirth (the mini series). Then DC Universe Rebirth #1. The Rebirth Titans series (until Wally leaves), Flash War (#46-51), Flash Forward, The Flash: Finish Line (#756-762), Death Metal: Speed Metal #1, and then you can read Jeremy Adams run.
But again, you can also just jump in at the last Flash issue (#787). That's cool too.
Also this is not a complete history at all. This is just the good stuff (imo) so if you want the complete timeline of say... Bart, Wally, Ace or Barry or something lemme know and I'll give you that.
