tumblr posts love to say stuff like "this is exactly how all young people are today: [a bunch of stuff that is only true for my specific socioeconomic bracket in my county of my state in the US and I'm also probably ignoring the good 30% of kids in my town who aren't like this]"
#granted I'm now a Young Adult instead of a Teen and I'm sure only-using-phonesitis is a real problem in some spaces#but the freshman (18 and 19 y/os) at my college pretty much all come in knowing how to use a laptop#marina marvels at life
